If you chose to remain in your sinful ways, then you cannot expect God to dishonor His word and come to your aid, no matter how much you pray or how much pastors pray for you.

If you love God, then you have to fall in love with His word and obey it. If you do not have a genuine love for God, you cannot submit to the authority of the Scriptures.
