Prayers for epilepsy

Epilepsy is a medical disorder of the brain involving episodes of irregular electrical discharge in the brain and characterized by the periodic sudden loss or impairment of consciousness, often accompanied by convulsions, seizures, and loss of consciousness, among others.

Though there may be other neurological and physical causes, quite often, epileptic seizures are the result of harassment by demonic spirits. The devil is the chief cause of all sickness, afflictions, and oppressions alongside sin. He is constantly laboring without ceasing to ruin mankind and all creation.

Epileptic fits can be embarrassing and dangerous. It can cause you bodily harm and prevent you from living a relatively normal life. You may become withdrawn as a result. Nevertheless, you can get your healing. The children of Israel are a typical example. When they became God's people, he bought them unto himself and gave them refuge. They equally started enjoying the benefits and blessings of the healing covenants. God can give you refuge today and grant you healing.

Likewise, when you give your life to Christ, you enter into a healing covenant with God. That is when you begin to enjoy all the benefits of healing and good health. God is ever faithful to remember His covenant, which He promised to all who trust in Him. The Word of God is also an effective tool that generates faith and healing.
