Prayers Against Divorce

Divorce means the termination of an existing legal marriage relationship.

“The Pharisees also came unto him, tempting him, and saying unto him, is it lawful for a man to put away his wife for every cause?  And he answered and said unto them, have ye not read, that he which made them at the beginning made them male and female, And said, for this cause shall a man leave the father and mother, and shall cleave to his wife:  and they twain shall be one flesh?  What therefore God hath joined together, let not man put asunder.  They say unto him, why did Moses then command to give a writing of divorcement, and to put her away?  He saith unto them, Moses because of the hardness of your hearts suffered you to put away your wives:  but from the beginning it was not so.  And I say unto you, whosoever shall put away his wife, except it be for fornication, and shall marry another, committeth adultery; and whoso marrieth her which is put away doth commit adultery”  

(Matthew 19:3-9).

10. I hereby receive the soundness of spirit, in the mighty name of Jesus.
11. Jesus, the Prince of Peace; grant Your peace to my family, to Your own glory, in the name of Jesus.
12. Every power behind divorce, listen to me now; I hereby overcome you permanently, in the mighty name of Jesus.
13. I shall not be an agent of failure to others, in the name of Jesus.
14. You the spirit in charge of divorce; die now, in the name of Jesus.
15. Oh Lord, clothe me with your own righteousness, in the name of Jesus.
16. Lord Jesus, I am available for You; demonstrate Your righteousness in my life now and always, in the mighty name of Jesus.
17. Every seed of divorce sown in my marriage; be destroyed by fire now, in the name of Jesus.
18. Every tree of divorce growing in my marriage; be uprooted now by fire, in the name of Jesus.
19. You my marriage, reject every form of divorce, in the name of Jesus.
20. You my life, reject every agent of divorce, in the mighty name of Jesus.
21. Oh Lord my God, deliver me from the spirit of polygamy, in the name of Jesus.
22. You the spirit of brokenness; come into my life now, and incubate me always, in the name of Jesus.
23. Father Lord, grant me the spirit of tolerance, in the name of Jesus.
24. The spirit of divorce shall not destroy my ministry, in the name of Jesus.
25. You spirit of divorce, I overcome you now and always, in the name of Jesus.
