Faith in Spoken Words

God created man in His image, after His likeness, and gave him dominion over all other creatures in the whole universe. Man, in his original nature, was good (Genesis 1:31). He was and is still the crown of God’s creation, made only “a little lower than the angels.”

“And God said, let us make man in our image, after our likeness: and let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over the cattle, and over all the earth, and over every creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth. So, God created man in his own image, in the image of God created he him; male and female created he them. And God blessed them, and God said unto them, be fruitful, and multiply, and replenish the earth, and subdue it: and have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over every living thing that moveth upon the earth. And God said, Behold, I have given you every herb bearing seed, which is upon the face of all the earth, and every tree, in the which is the fruit of a tree yielding seed; to you it shall be for meat. And to every beast of the earth, and to every fowl of the air, and to everything that creepeth upon the earth, wherein there is life, I have given every green herb for meat: and it was so. And God saw everything that he had made, and, behold, it was very good. And the evening and the morning were the sixth day.”

“For thou hast made him a little lower than the angels, and hast crowned him with glory and honor.”

Psalm 8:5

Therefore, man, in his original nature, can say anything by faith, and it will stand despite the powers that may be opposing those words. When a person believes something that is in line with the word of God, he should say it. Often times, the circumstances at the time may not be favorable, but that does not matter. It will only take a matter of time before they all bow. Why? Because man is a superior creature.

The word of God also has decreed that man should be fruitful with the power to subdue the earth and things under the earth. Every other creature is given to man as a gift from God. When in faith we receive Christ, no power can stand against our words. Faith has a voice, and the voice of faith is the words of believers. And believers are those who believe God’s word.

So, when you believe, do not stop at that level. Say what you believe, and stand on that even unto death. God believes in his word, and he said it out loud. You must say it aloud in front of any opposing circumstances. The world we are in now has lasted for many years and came into existence because of the voice of faith spoken by God. Everything you can see today came from the spoken word of God.

“Through faith we understand that the worlds were framed by the word of God, so that things which are seen were not made of things which do appear.”

Believers who believe God’s word are preaching concerning the end of the world. Many preachers are not preaching it. Some do not believe it, but it is a reality. Faith is saying what you believe. When you say it, you prepare for its manifestation. So when you say that you are a rich man or woman, prepare for it. When you say that you will not die, prepare for a long life. If you speak forth your marriage, no matter your age, prepare to get married. When you say that you are not barren, prepare to have your baby. Believe whatever you say!

That was what Noah did, and it was counted for him as righteousness, and he became a man of faith. You too can believe, say what you believe, and prepare for its manifestation.

“By faith Noah, being warned of God of things not seen as yet, moved with fear, prepared an ark to the saving of his house; by the which he condemned the world, and became heir of the righteousness which is by faith.”

Hebrew 11:7

Abraham did the same. He heard the word of God and believed it. He said it out loud and put it into action. Abraham had nothing when he started believing in God. He prepared for a journey of faith, and people asked him, “Where are you going?” He spoke up and told them he was going to a place where God would make him a great nation, a place of blessing where he would be a blessing. You are the crown of creation, so as a result, even nature should obey you when we speak. Nobody believed him, but he didn’t mind; instead, he followed God’s instructions obediently. He was moved by faith to become great, and that was the beginning of the story of a father of many nations.

People may look at you, shake their heads, and say, “This one cannot make it; no life, no certificate, no hope, and no helper.” But you can believe God and tell yourself and others that you can do it. When you’re in hopeless situations, you can say what you believe, and it will take place. You only have to believe!

There is absolute power in our words. The enemy has convinced many of us for so long the opposite of what God has said to us according to his biblical word, that we have to unlearn what we say and have been taught. I tell my son who is 9 yrs old “can’t” is not a real word it is comprised of two words can and not. The first being can therefore you can because Gods word says “I can do All things through Christ which strengthens me”. (Phillipiansn4:13) The second is “Not” therefore it is Not by my own might, not by power but by his spirit saith the lord. Zechariah 4:6 I encourage you to speak declarations over your life to see the manifestation of Gods power and might in action.
