Impurity; an Instrument of the Queen of Heaven

It is our responsibility to keep ourselves pure in order to keep the world holy and habitable. Right from our family, to church, to the nation and to the whole world, we must not live to defile others (Matthew. 18:8-10);

Your boasting is not good. Don’t you know that a little yeast leavens the whole batch of dough? ⁷ Get rid of the old yeast, so that you may be a new unleavened batch—as you really are. For Christ, our Passover lamb, has been sacrificed.

1 Corinthians. 5: 6-7)

Breaking the word of God through unholy relationship – boyfriend or girlfriend – is common among youths; but God is not happy about it. It causes destruction down to the root of one’s life. An adult who practices immorality is not only a disgrace to God but also to the younger people who are supposed to take examples from such an adult.

A leader who practices immorality is issuing a license to the devil to deal with his followers. Pastors who receive evil gifts from people without knowing how they got these gifts encourage them to do more evil. The same goes to parents who receive gifts from their children anyhow. Pastors or parents who do not rebuke evil in their churches or homes encourage the people to glory in fraudulent activities or commit immorality.

Folly is an unruly woman;
    she is simple and knows nothing.
¹⁴ She sits at the door of her house,
    on a seat at the highest point of the city,
¹⁵ calling out to those who pass by,
    who go straight on their way,
¹⁶     “Let all who are simple come to my house!”
To those who have no sense she says,
¹⁷     “Stolen water is sweet;
    food eaten in secret is delicious!”
¹⁸ But little do they know that the dead are there,
    that her guests are deep in the realm of the dead.

Proverbs 9: 13-18

Pastors who engage in immoral behavior with their congregants are considered enemies of God because they are essentially reenacting the crucifixion of Jesus Christ. Anyone who pressures a woman into sexual immorality is committing a similar offense as if they were committing adultery with a married or betrothed woman. Additionally, any person who claims to be a Christian but engages in fornication or adultery within the church community is turning the house of God into a place of promiscuity.
