Salvation for Sinners

God made provisions for everyone on earth to access the best of life, including the wicked. He sent His Son, Jesus Christ, not to condemn the world but to convince, convict, and convert all men. God’s ultimate purpose for sending His beloved Son was to save the world through him. No man has the right to judge or condemn someone whom God has not condemned. Jesus desires that every sinner be saved and never sin again.

‘For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved…. She said, No man, Lord. And Jesus said unto her, neither do I condemn thee: go, and sin no more’

John 3:17, 8:11

Sinners are not automatically condemned as wicked people until they refuse to believe the gospel of Jesus Christ. But when a sinner rejects the offer of salvation, he or she is grouped among the wicked. Until he or she repents and accepts Christ, they remain wicked.

These are people who are already condemned, for they believed not but rather loved darkness, did evil, hated the light, and refused to come to the light. If you are afraid of being reproved for sin or you despise being saved, you are not only condemned but also classified as wicked.

When a sinner hears the Word of God and gets convinced, convicted, and converted, they will escape eternal condemnation and God’s judgment. By the power of the Holy Spirit, any sinner who yields to Christ through the gospel will be convinced that Jesus is Lord. He is the one who convicts sinners of sin and enables them to avoid it.

Unbelief in the gospel of Jesus Christ brings condemnation. It is a great sin to reject the gospel of Jesus Christ, for it is the ultimate reason for eternal condemnation. When you hear the gospel and rejects it, a mark of condemnation is placed upon you. The wrath of God abides with you, and you will lose eternal life. People who hate Christ and the gospel walk in darkness.

To avoid eternal judgment and damnation, however, you must believe in and confess Christ, and then come to light with the assurance that Jesus has forsaken your sins and removed your guilt and condemnation. You must believe that Jesus can save, cleanse, sanctify, and keep you holy, as well as answer all of your prayers.

‘Therefore, I say unto you, what things soever ye desire, when ye pray, believe that ye receive them, and ye shall have them’

Mark 11:24
