You should never be content with just what this world has to offer as a Christian. Never should you be overjoyed by what this world has to offer. God desires all of his children to succeed in life. According to what God said in his word, you are to be the head and not the tail. When you are excelling in life, no devil can harm you. Therefore, excellence is your heritage in Christ. He believes in success and he desires nothing more than excellence for you. He doesn’t want you to be successful and excel in some things. Rather, he wants you to excel and succeed in everything!
Daniel was a man who had the spirit of excellence. This was evident during the times he was attacked; he still came out on top. A lot of times, you may find yourself under the captivity of evil limitations. Other times, it could be the evil utterances or negative words that have been spoken against you.

But how can you contact this power to excel? It takes a praying believer to carry an excellent spirit. Daniel was equally a man of prayer. No wonder he he was able to overcome whatever was thrown at him. If you want to excel in your area of calling, you must prepare yourself spiritually.
