God has provided us with everything we require in order to live victorious lives, yet many of us miss out by developing bad habits that keep us cut off from God’s strength, vision, and presence. A habit is a frequent activity that is hard to break since it is imprinted in our brains. Habits can be beneficial (such as frequent Bible reading, a healthy diet, and exercise) or they can be detrimental. Many people are addicted to the evil habits of smoking, drinking, sexual lust, and drugs of all kinds, among others.

Evil habits can ruin your life if left unchecked. The worst evil habit that can befall any man or woman on earth is sin. The habit of sin is a great enemy to God. Sadly, most people don’t give these bad habits much thought until they start to interfere with their daily lives. They underestimate the consequences of their evil habits.
