Deliverance from Jezebel: A Spiritual Battle

The Spirit of Jezebel

Whenever we talk about deliverance from Jezebel, we mean the water spirit, the woman that sits upon the waters and the queen of heaven

‘And there came one of the seven angels which had the seven vials, and talked with me, saying unto me, Come hither; I will shew unto thee the judgment of the great whore that sitteth upon many waters: With whom the kings of the earth have committed fornication, and the inhabitants of the earth have been made drunk with the wine of her fornication. So he carried me away in the spirit into the wilderness: and I saw a woman sit upon a scarlet coloured beast, full of names of blasphemy, having seven heads and ten horns. And the woman was arrayed in purple and scarlet colour, and decked with gold and precious stones and pearls, having a golden cup in her hand full of abominations and filthiness of her fornication: And upon her forehead was a name written, MYSTERY, BABYLON THE GREAT, THE MOTHER OF HARLOTS AND ABOMINATIONS OF THE EARTH. And I saw the woman drunken with the blood of the saints, and with the blood of the martyrs of Jesus: and when I saw her, I wondered with great admiration. And the angel said unto me, Wherefore didst thou marvel? I will tell thee the mystery of the woman, and of the beast that carrieth her, which hath the seven heads and ten horns’ (Revelation 17:1-7).

‘Then all the men which knew that their wives had burned incense unto other gods, and all the women that stood by, a great multitude, even all the people that dwelt in the land of Egypt, in Pathros, answered Jeremiah, saying, As for the word that thou hast spoken unto us in the name of the LORD, we will not hearken unto thee. But we will certainly do whatsoever thing goeth forth out of our own mouth, to burn incense unto the queen of heaven, and to pour out drink offerings unto her, as we have done, we, and our fathers, our kings, and our princes, in the cities of Judah, and in the streets of Jerusalem: for then had we plenty of victuals, and were well, and saw no evil. But since we left off to burn incense to the queen of heaven, and to pour out drink offerings unto her, we have wanted all things, and have been consumed by the sword and by the famine’ (Jeremiah 44:15-18).

The Importance of Complete Spiritual Deliverance

Moreover, any deliverance that does not start and affect spiritual part is not recognized by God. That is why many people pray for deliverance but their case get worse. Any deliverance that does not spiritual provokes Jezebel and attracts more attacks from the kingdom of darkness is not complete. If you want real deliverance in life, you have to fight unto death, if need be. If Jezebel, water spirit does not see this decision in you, before and during deliverance, you are likely not going to be delivered. When one takes decision for Christ unto salvation, you are expected to live for Him or die for Him. It is not conditional or with an option, it is a must, no negotiation or compromise.

If the water spirit sees any condition or an option in your decision to follow Christ, she will negotiate. Be ready to live, survive, perish or die serving the Lord without option, no second chance or part two. With this single decision, even if you make mistake, Christ will pardon you and deliver you.

‘But Peter and John answered and said unto them, Whether it be right in the sight of God to hearken unto you more than unto God, judge ye. For we cannot but speak the things which we have seen and heard’ (Acts 4:19-20).

‘And now, behold, I go bound in the spirit unto Jerusalem, not knowing the things that shall befall me there:  Save that the Holy Ghost witnesseth in every city, saying that bonds and afflictions abide me. But none of these things move me, neither count I my life dear unto myself, so that I might finish my course with joy, and the ministry, which I have received of the Lord Jesus, to testify the gospel of the grace of God’ (Acts 20:22-24).

Faith and Perseverance in Deliverance

When you are praying for deliverance, the first thing the powers behind your problem will search for is your level of decision for Christ, how deep it is, the extent you are ready to go with Christ. Remember that at salvation, you gave your life to Christ as an offering. If the power behind your problem know that you are likely going to withdraw back your life, compromise, you are likely not going to get the deliverance, if you do, it is not complete, permanent or from God. Deliverance candidate must first surrender their lives to God without condition. Your deliverance from physical infirmity is not more important than your soul or relationship with Christ, your faith in Him. Deliverance candidate seeking for true deliverance must be ready to fight a good fight of faith, finish their course, keep faith at all cost and earnestly contend to the end, life or dead. The devil, Jezebel and their entire agent know that your faith is a priceless treasure and they are ready to negotiate with you to exchange it with anything in earth.

Nothing must be exchanged with your faith in Christ. In times of distress, trials, perplexity, pressure and all trouble, you must fight to the end, even unto death to keep your relationship with Christ. Paul, other apostles and the Old Testament saints persevered to the end and they never allowed the threats of kings, oppositions, fiery furnace, sickness, late marriage, hunger, shame, suffering, hardship or death to sweep off their faith. They fought to the end, believed their God and held fast their faith in the darkest hour when all the foundations on which men of the world built their hopes were ruthlessly swept away.

‘Shadrach, Meshach, and Abed-nego, answered and said to the king, O Nebuchadnezzar, we are not careful to answer thee in this matter. If it be so, our God whom we serve is able to deliver us from the burning fiery furnace, and he will deliver us out of thine hand, O king. But if not, be it known unto thee, O king, that we will not serve thy gods, nor worship the golden image which thou hast set up’ (Daniel 3:16-18).

The disciples were ready to obey God, keep faith than to obey men. They refused to negotiate with the devil and his agents. Paul was ready to go into bondage, die in it rather than negotiate. Nothing on earth moved him and his life was less important to him than his relationship with Christ. His decision was to keep faith, finish his course and fulfil his ministry with joy which he received from Christ. The three Hebrews children who were probably younger than you did not prefer their life above their faith in God. They looked at Nebuchadnezzar to his face and dared him and his gods. As small as they were at that time, they were not afraid of the burning fiery furnace, suffering in fire unto death. They told the king who was surrounded by his security men, the mightiest that were ready to die the worst death than to compromise their faith in God to worship idol. The king commanded his army to bind them. He was full of fury and his visage changed but all this did not move those little boys who knew the value of their relationship with God.

He commanded the furnace to be heated seven times more than the normal heat. That was abnormal but abnormal fire met with abnormal children with abnormal faith. Sometimes you need to be abnormal to survive Jezebel. God did not deliver them outside the burning fire. They were delivered inside the fire. You don’t need to force God through your prayer how He should deliver the life you handed over to Him at salvation, they no longer belong to you. The problem with many deliverance candidates is too much love and idolatry in their body, physical life. They are afraid to face the enemy that has only power to kill the body. As a result, they hand over their soul but tried to save their body. At the end of their ends, they lose both the body and the soul in hell.
