When God responds to our prayers, we are delighted. We anticipate hearing from God when we pray, but when we don’t seem to be getting answers, we start to get worried, which frequently results in uncertainty. As such, you need to know the things that make God not answer your prayers sometimes.
Your covenant with God is extremely important. When a believer backslides, he breaks his covenant relationship with God. He is no longer in covenant with God, and so it would be difficult for God to reach that believer for healing. His prayers cannot be answered until he repents and returns to God.

Many backsliders are deceived into believing that their prayers can be answered without true repentance and restitution. Millions of people are praying all over the world, but only a few receive answers. It is strange to believe that thieves, murderers, and adulterers would continue in sin and insist that God answer their prayers. God demands repentance before praying for blessings or healing.
Some people believe that the number of times they pray determines how God will answer their prayers, while others are deceived into believing that when they hire a prayer contractor, God will answer them immediately and heal them. However, this is not true. When you are living in sin or are a liar, you need to repent first and then pray.
Some others have also refused to repent, yet they pray and expect God to hear them. More so, when you continue praying without repentance, the devil may answer your prayers and deceive you forever. Without entering into a covenant with God through Christ, God may not answer your prayers for healing, and any other answer for your healing has no godly foundation.

Any healing, deliverance, or freedom that lacks an absolute commitment to Christ as Savior is useless and temporal. If you have sin in your heart and refuse to repent and yet pray for healing, the Lord will not answer you, no matter how long you pray or who prays for you. The Bible was clear on this:
“If I regard iniquity in my heart, the Lord will not hear me”
Psalms 66:18
Sin separates one from God’s plans. Many people spend so much time praying, fasting, and doing everything possible to get their healing when they have refused to end their wickedness. It would be hard for God to answer such people.
God demands holiness, victory over sin, and a Christian life that is consistent with His Word before one can pray for healing and deliverance. You must make peace with God and your fellow humans before praying for your healing. If you do what you are supposed to do before God and man, God will surely answer your prayers.
