A home is a necessity in the life of every human. At a certain point, you start to think of a family and, in turn, a home. From the beginning of time, God determined it was good for His people to have a good place to live. That was why He created the Garden of Eden and put Adam and his wife in it. God wanted a place where He could rest whenever He wished. He planned it, purposed it, and provided it from the beginning.
The earthly home is a shadow or model of our heavenly home. Therefore, if your earthly home lacks the presence of God, how can you partake in the heavenly home? No matter how comfortable, peaceful, restful, or enjoyable your home here on earth is, you have a better home in heaven. We are the only ambassadors on earth.

It is good to own a home here on earth. It is your right because the earth and its fullness belong to our Father in heaven. However, your main focus should be on the heavenly home. We are just strangers here on earth. Our home is in heaven. Our Father is in heaven, and our Savior is also there, including our homes, names, lives, treasures, affections, hearts, inheritance, and citizenship. Jesus is the only way to paradise, our heavenly home.
How can you guarantee your home in heaven? If you are not born-again yet, then you are not at peace with God through Jesus Christ. Therefore, you will not come to heaven. Those who will live in the heavenly home are those who were born of the Spirit here on earth and lead good spiritual lives where Christ reigns.
The truth is that many will not make it to eternal life in heaven. Will you be among them? You cannot afford to miss this eternal home.

It is very easy to get carried away with all the mouth-watering distractions that the world offers, but the question you should ask yourself is, “Are you going to allow the devil or the little enjoyment on earth to deny you of your eternal rest in the eternal home?” It would be a great and eternal loss. It will not be your portion, in Jesus’ name.
