Fear is an emotion that causes feelings of unease or worry, often in response to the threat of danger. It can have both physical and spiritual effects, and can disrupt a person’s ability to rest and have peace. The devil often uses fear as a means of manipulating and controlling people, preventing them from fulfilling God’s plans for their lives. It is essential for believers to resist the influence of fear and not let it take hold in their lives.
Fear and doubt are closely related and you must not allow them to rule over your days or nights. When a person allows fear to rule over his day or night, that person is in trouble. You are a winner in life when you conquer fear.
Interestingly, there are 365 instances of ‘fear-nots’ as recorded in the Bible, just as we have 365 days in a year. It then becomes a shameful thing for a Christian to fail because of fear.
“10Fear thou not; for I am with thee: be not dismayed; for I am thy God: I will strengthen thee; yea, I will help thee; yea, I will uphold thee with the right hand of my righteousness. 14Fear not, thou worm Jacob, and ye men of Israel; I will help thee, saith the LORD, and thy redeemer, the Holy One of Israel. 5Fear not: for I am with thee: I will bring thy seed from the east, and gather thee from the west”
(Isaiah 41:10, 14; 43:5).
“He shall call upon me, and I will answer him: I will be with him in trouble; I will deliver him, and honor him”
(Psalms 91:15).

When one is uncertain of God’s help, they may fear the devil when he presents himself as offering assistance. When one is uncertain of their salvation, righteousness and God’s mercy, they may feel scared when the devil makes himself known in a powerful way. However, those who have a deep understanding and knowledge of God, cannot be frightened by the devil
“And such as do wickedly against the covenant shall he corrupt by flatteries: but the people that do know their God shall be strong, and do exploits”

God will remain your helper and redeemer for He is the Holy One of Israel. Do not be afraid of the news of the financial markets or stocks collapsing. God promised to help you and bring your children out of troubles. The devil may come to frighten you in the night but fear him not. God was and is still with you and will forever be with you as long as you abide in Him. True Christians do not fear.

“And the LORD, he it is that doth go before thee; he will be with thee, he will not fail thee, neither forsake thee: fear not, neither be dismayed”
(Deuteronomy 31:8).
Sometimes, devil may come to you in the company of millions of his demons, problems and calamities, but God has commanded you not to be afraid of him. God has never failed anyone who trusts in Him and He will never do so. He will not allow the devil to ruin your life.
As a believer that knows all the promises of God for His children, you must reject the spirit of fear. Take authority over the spirit of fear. Decide to be a winner and reject sin and compromise. Fear can destroy someone’s nights, days, weeks, months and years. It is a sin to be on the side of God and be afraid of the devil at the same time. It pains God and makes Him unhappy. God expects His children to be courageous all the time.
