True followers of Christianity have access to the abundant power and resources of God. They must not turn a blind eye to the ongoing conflict with the world of witchcraft, but instead put on the full armor of God to withstand Satan in times of evil. Unfortunately, many Christians have fallen short in life due to ignoring or overlooking the presence of witchcraft in their lives. They were unaware of the malevolent strength of witchcraft’s influence and by the time they realized they were under its control, significant harm had already been inflicted.
“And it came to pass, when she pressed him daily with her words, and urged him, so that his soul was vexed unto death; That he told her all his heart, and said unto her, There hath not come a razor upon mine head; for I have been a Nazarite unto God from my mother’s womb: if I be shaven, then my strength will go from me, and I shall become weak, and be like any other man. And when Delilah saw that he had told her all his heart, she sent and called for the lords of the Philistines, saying, Come up this once, for he hath showed me all his heart. Then the lords of the Philistines came up unto her, and brought money in their hand. And she made him sleep upon her knees; and she called for a man, and she caused him to shave off the seven locks of his head; and she began to afflict him, and his strength went from him. And she said, The Philistines be upon thee, Samson. In addition, he awoke out of his sleep, and said, I will go out as at other times before, and shake myself. In addition, he wist not that the LORD was departed from him. But the Philistines took him, and put out his eyes, and brought him down to Gaza, and bound him with fetters of brass; and he did grind in the prison house”
(Judges 16:16-21).

The spirit of the devil that is working in the world works in many schools as well. The word witchcraft is a combination of two words –
(i) Witch, which means to bend and (ii)
(ii) craft, which means deceit.
Witchcraft can be defined as the power of deception that bends people. But, Christians should be grateful to God as He has equipped them with the necessary weapons to triumph over the influence of witchcraft.
“Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord, and in the power of his might. Put overall armor of God that ye may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil. For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places. Wherefore take unto you the whole armor of God that ye may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand. Stand therefore, having your loins girt about with truth, and having on the breastplate of righteousness; And your feet shod with the preparation of the gospel of peace; Above all, taking the shield of faith, wherewith ye shall be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked. And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God”
(Ephesians 6:10-17).
God’s power was there to help and strengthen Samson but he did not use it well. We are all to resist the works of the devil and the manipulations of witchcrafts. You must put on God’s armor, resist and stand against the devil and witchcraft. A Roman soldier would never go to war without putting his helmet on. It is surprising how Christians go to war without wearing the whole armor of God.
“And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God”
(Ephesians 6:17).

The helmet protects the head from arrows and broadsword. Do not allow any witch or wizard to rob you of your salvation, not even for a moment. Do not give the devil a place in your life even for a split second. No affliction has enough power to destroy Christians who stand firm and do not compromise the truth. If you remain loyal, faithful and obedient to God’s eternal and unchanging truth, His power will protect you and preserve you from the manipulations of witchcrafts. Our faith is a priceless treasure, which you must hold fast.
“Forasmuch as ye know that ye were not redeemed with corruptible things, as silver and gold, from your vain conversation received by tradition from your fathers; But with the precious blood of Christ, as of a lamb without blemish and without spot”
(1 Peter 1:18-19).
“For ye are bought with a price: therefore glorify God in your body, and in your spirit, which are God’s”
(1 Corinthians 6:20).
