With Christmas come and gone, the whole world and all human being are facing another direction, new year, new problems and new responsibilities. You are going to add into your life another year whether you like it or not. In this year you need godly preparation, a new and a better foundation. You need a godly change, and the right direction.
For which of you, intending to build a tower, sitteth not down first, and counteth the cost, whether he have sufficient to finish it? Lest haply, after he hath laid the foundation, and is not able to finish it, all that behold it begin to mock him, Saying, this man began to build, and was not able to finish.
Luke 14:28-30
Your physical, emotional, temperament, social, spiritual maturity or immaturity will determine your success or failure this year. You need to develop a mature life of discipline, temperance, self-denial and unselfishness. You need to practice a life of maturity and industry through an intimate union with Christ and purity of life. To prepare adequately and receive the best that God has for you this year, you must examine your life, strengthen your past, correct your immediate wrong ways of life and take solid decision to live right, obey God’s word and remain with Christ at all cost.
Examine yourselves, whether ye be in the faith; prove your own selves. Know ye not your own selves, how that Jesus Christ is in you, except ye be reprobates?

Let my body reject any evil plantation this year, in Jesus’ name. You my dead blessings, hear the voice of resurrection and arise, in the mighty name of Jesus. Every hinderance and barrier against me this year, disappear, in Jesus name. Every satanic network designed against me, shatter to pieces. Let the spirit of favor flow into my life this year, in Jesus’ name. Any evil eye monitoring my breakthrough this year, be blinded, in the name of Jesus.
