Standing on the Promises of God

When God filled the earth with creation, he provided everything necessary for living. He provided a life of comfort for Adam. Everything Adam needed to enjoy life and be comfortable was provided. Likewise, God has made adequate provision and has given precious promises by which every believer can receive and enjoy the best of life on earth. This means that by recognizing a need in your life, you can obtain every good thing God has promised you!

Oppositions…

Has life ever been difficult for you? so much so that it prevents you from making progress? You frequently come to terms with this life and persuade yourself to persevere through it. You do not need to endure a life below the standard that God has provided for you. As a believer, you have the power and capacity to live a good life and have everything you desire. This is God’s promise to you. Christ also suffered and died for this purpose.

You must also know that there are powers who will seek to stop you from enjoying the promises of God’s words to you. It is not enough for you to know what God has promised you through his word. You have to fight every power that tries to stop you from enjoying them. By praying, living a consistent Christian life, and even fasting, you must insist until you receive and enjoy all that Christ has provided for you through God’s promise.

When you recognize the need for a change in your life, do not hold back. You must not be afraid of asking God for anything. He has already promised you in His words. Jabez recognized the need for change, blessing, and deliverance from all evil in his life. He became thirsty for change. The thirst and hunger led him into action. Therefore, he wholeheartedly consecrated his life to God, holding back nothing, and God never disappointed him.

And Jabez was more honorable than his brethren: and his mother called his name Jabez, saying, Because I bare him with sorrow. 10And Jabez called on the God of Israel, saying, Oh that thou wouldest bless me indeed, and enlarge my coast, and that thine hand might be with me, and that thou wouldest keep me from evil, that it may not grieve me! And God granted him that which he requested”

Abraham equally trusted God and the promises that were made to him even when circumstances didn’t support them. That’s why you should trust God when He has promised you anything; healing, deliverance, prosperity, and child bearing, no matter how old you are or how long it takes. As long as you believe in God, no matter the circumstance, you will receive an answer.
