The devil works really hard against Christians, and so as a Christian, spiritual warfare is part of the package. There is always a fight to fight and only those who are born-again and know how to use God’s Word have a hope of victory.
Can you fight this battle and lose it as a believer? The answer is yes! If you still have sin reigning inside of you, you are bound to die in your bondage. Sin is more destructive than whatever physical problem you may be going through now. Your weak character and all your acquired bad habits are worse than every physical problem you are going through now. The devil will entice you with your weaknesses, seeking to turn you away from God and separate you from Him.
Jesus said unto him, “13He that covereth his sins shall not prosper: but whoso confesseth and forsaketh them shall have mercy”

The battle within is more dangerous than the battle without. Spiritual battles cannot be fought with human technique. And this is why being born-again is essential if you want to succeed. Therefore, you cannot be praying for physical healing, deliverance, and prosperity if you are not ready to fight sin first.

As a born-again Christian, you can be sure of victory when you start praying. You cannot win the battles of life without the help of your Savior, no matter how strong, wealthy, or wise you are. God has given you the assurance of victory over these battles, but this can be accessed only when you are in Christ. You cannot be outside of your Father and Savior and fight your life’s battle successfully.

The Armor of God
Without the grace of God and the power of the Spirit of God, you will be as weak as the fallen giants. Those who lean on their human abilities to fight the devil are always defeated. No matter how much experience, ability, and maturity you may have, if you don’t lean on God and start praying, any problem will overcome you. Likewise, depending on witchcraft and other powers cannot give you true and lasting victory.
