In many Christian families, love has become a thing of the old. The love of God no longer exists in their homes, and as a result, the devil and all his agents are celebrating in these homes as they continue to cause more damage on a daily basis.
God was clear on his instructions on how we should love.
“Ye have heard that it hath been said, Thou shalt love thy neighbor, and hate thine enemy. But I say to you, Love your enemies, bless them that curse you, do good to them that hate you, and pray for them which despitefully use you, and persecute you; That ye may be the children of your Father which is in heaven: for he maketh his sun to rise on the evil and on the good, and sendeth rain on the just and on the unjust. For if ye love them which love you, what reward have ye? Do not even the publicans behave the same? And if ye salute your brethren only, what do ye more than others? Do not even the publicans so? Be ye therefore perfect, even as your Father which is in heaven is perfect”

If the husband and his wife do not have the love of Christ in them, then the failure extends to the nation at large.
When God dwells in a family, there is love, peace, joy, happiness, forgiveness, and a whole lot more. However, you need to be born-again before you can manifest God’s love in your marriage. You need salvation that would deliver you from your sinful nature, and it comes through Christ alone. When you receive salvation through Christ, you can bring God’s presence into your family. The love of God, which is God’s divine nature, is the only love that works perfect and mighty things in families.
When your heart is pure and filled with God’s love, the Holy Spirit dwells in you and your family enjoys boundless peace. The Spirit of God motivates your heart with the love of God, which controls your thoughts, words, and actions.
The Love Of God
The mind of Christ produces perfect love for God. Christ reigns in a home where love of God is the bedrock of its numerous achievements and reputation. The love of God empowers a husband and his wife to live in peace as it is in heaven. This kind of love helps them overcome difficult situations no matter what comes their way. Experiencing the love of God doesn’t mean that trials, temptations, and problems may not come in your marriage. They may come, but the love of God guides you on how to wait on God and endure with hope.

Salvation is for those that sin has held captive. Jesus has paid the price for the salvation of the world. Therefore, all you need to do is to ask in faith. As you pray, believe with all your heart that God will answer all your prayers.
