It is very bad to know that God is waiting to hear from us and yet we fail to pray. But the truth is that not all prayers get to God and not all prayers are answered by God. So if we put ourselves in situations where our God can readily hear us, we receive immediate answers to prayers, otherwise we pray but pray in vain
Pray To The Father With Only One Name
Many people who pray, do not direct their prayers to the only true God. They pray but not to the father, and such prayers are not acceptable to God.
“But when you pray, go into your room, close the door and pray to your Father, who is unseen. Then your Father, who sees what is done in secret, will reward you”.
Mathew 6:6
Many Prayers are never to the Father who is in the third heaven. Most prayers are not able to get to God because such prayers carry weakness in them that just limit them to this earth or atmospheric heaven or the second heaven.
“If ye then, being evil, know how to give good gifts unto your children, how much more shall your Father which is in heaven give good things to them that ask him?

The third heaven is the place where Our Father works. It is forbidden to pray to deities or powers that solely exist on earth or in the heavens. It ought to be delivered to our heavenly Father, who dwells in the third heaven. Another fundamental fact is that a person must respect Christ in order for God to hear his prayers and answer them. Christ is the only Mediator between God and Man, and he must acknowledge this. He can only invoke Christ’s name in his prayers.
“And in that day ye shall ask me nothing. Verily, verily, I say unto you, Whatsoever ye shall ask the Father in my name, he will give it you”.
John 16:23
Anyone who must receive an answer from God must bow down, totally surrendering all his life to the Lord Jesus Christ. He must believe in the saving power of Christ and Pray to God through his name alone.
“For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus;”
1 Timothy. 2:5
The name of Jesus is the only name without addition or subtraction that is qualified to receive an answer from God. God cannot turn his face or release an answer to anyone who has anything against Him or his only begotten Son, the Lord Jesus Christ.
“In that day you will no longer ask me anything. I tell you the truth, my Father will give you whatever you ask in my name. Until now you have not asked for anything in my name. Ask and you will receive, and your joy will be complete”.
John 16:23, 24.

This is the only name that the devil respects and fears. A prayer prayed in any other name has no potency to challenge the devil. Such prayers can easily be interrupted by the evil powers in the heavenlies.
“And whatsoever ye shall ask in my name, that will I do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son. If ye shall ask any thing in my name, I will do it.”
John 14:13-14.
There are a lot of prayer camps, homes, mountains, and churches today, but their prayers are not getting to God’s throne because they leave out the name of Jesus, who makes everything complete. There are a lot of people gathered here today to pray, but little progress is being made. Although prayers of agreement are beneficial, they must fully embrace Christ.
“For where two or three are gathered together in my name, there am I in the midst of them”.
Mathew 18:20
Any gathering today that does not fully accept Christ is the gathering of the heathens. There are many religious bodies that are really praying today but their prayers are not reaching God just because in their religion they omit Christ. Some groups will tell you that they believe in Christ but Christ is not God. Such people may pray and even receive answers but the answers are not from God. Some people will say Christ is not the Son of God, others will say, he did a good job but he is dead and dead forever and never resurrected. Some said that they are equal with Christ. Some even said that Christ was a sinner. While, others said they recognized Christ as the only way but the dead saints also can stand and pray for them. All these groups pray but they are not receiving answers from the only true God. Others call God in their prayers but they call him through a human being, dead or at times living human beings. Some through living things, idols or direct without mentioning Christ. All such prayers never get to the God of heaven who has his throne in the third heavens. If their prayers are answered at all, it is answered by the devil or the personality who dwells in the heavens as a queen.
“Then all the men which knew that their wives had burned incense unto other gods, and all the women that stood by, a great multitude, even all the people that dwelt in the land of Egypt, in Pathros, answered Jeremiah, saying. As for the word that thou hast spoken unto us in the name of the LORD, we will not hearken unto thee. But we will certainly do whatsoever thing goeth forth out of our own mouth, to burn incense unto the queen of heaven, and to pour out drink offerings unto her, as we have done, we, and our fathers, our kings, and our princes, in the cities of Judah, and in the streets of Jerusalem: for then had we plenty of victuals, and were well, and saw no evil. But since we left off to burn incense to the queen of heaven, and to pour out drink offerings unto her, we have wanted all things, and have been consumed by the sword and by the famine.

- As I pray today, Oh Lord releases the answers, in the name of Jesus.
- Holy Ghost fire, burn to ashes every anti-prayer spirit, in the name of Jesus.
- Any power assigned to delay the answers to my prayers, fall down and die, in the name of Jesus.
- Anointing to pray and receive an answer, fall upon me by fire, in the name of Jesus.
- Blood of Jesus, flow into the root of my life, in the name of Jesus.
- Any power of worldliness assigned to rob me of my benefits, die, in the name of Jesus.
- You spirit of self and pride organised to frustrate me, die immediately, in the name of Jesus.
- Father Lord, destroy every power leakage spirit tormenting my life, in the name of Jesus.
- Let that spirit of fear attacking my faith, die, in the name of Jesus.
- I bind and cast out of my life any power robbing me of answers to my prayers, in the name of Jesus.
- Any evil character keeping me in bondage, die, in the name of Jesus.
