Are there false churches and false prophets today?
There are many evil groups in the name of the church who are antichrist by nature. Some of them cannot mention the blood of Jesus. Many ministers have been deceived together with their members by allowing people with this strange spirit to prophecy in their churches. Some once vibrant ministers have married these false prophets and their lives and ministries have been ruined.
The purpose and aim of false prophets
False prophets lead victims away from God into idolatry, wickedness, and destruction.
“And it came to pass, as if it had been a light thing for him to walk in the sins of Jeroboam the son of Nebat, that he took to wife Jezebel the daughter of Ethbaal king of the Zidonians, and went and served Baal, and worshipped him. And he reared up an altar for Baal in the house of Baal, which he had built in Samaria. And Ahab made a grove; and Ahab did more to provoke the LORD God of Israel to anger than all the kings of Israel that were before him“. I Kings 16:31-33
The danger of marrying false prophets and prophetesses
God would have helped Ahab but his wife was a great stumbling block. Ministers who enter into wrong marriages with evil prophetesses or prophets cannot fulfill their ministry.
The danger of associating with evil people
Believers of the gospel should do everything possible to overcome false prophets. An evil woman attached to a minister can destroy him and convert him into a destructive tool.
The nature and activities of false people
No matter how spiritual such a minister is, he may have no other option than to compromise with his evil wife to avoid trouble in the home and the church. If such a woman is brought into church leadership to manage the affairs of the church, she will indirectly control the church through her false prophecies or persistent demands which are usually negative. Even when the minister knows the will of God, he will not do it without the wife’s consent false prophecies. The evil wife makes sure that genuine ministers are removed, leaving only the compromising ones who are not heavenly-minded. Those who are promoted in such gatherings are fornicators, adulterers, thieves, and people living filthy lives. Any God-fearing pastor who makes the slightest mistake in such a group will have the news announced and published on the internet. But if they are the ones involved, the message of forgiveness will be preached and the person will be the next in line for promotion.
“For it was so, when Jezebel cut off the prophets of the LORD, that Obadiah took an hundred prophets, and hid them by fifty in a cave, and fed them with bread and water). Now therefore send, and gather to me all Israel unto mount Carmel, and the prophets of Baal four hundred and fifty, and the prophets of the groves four hundred, which eat at Jezebel’s table“. I Kings 18:4, 19
They will victimize, persecute, and remove all the prophets of the Lord until all the righteous are cut off. Those allowed to reign are those who steal offerings and tithes, take bribes and defile innocent ladies and widows. They will conspire against the righteous, take away their branches and use it to reward their spiritual sons who steal to bring returns to their evil false prophets and backsliders.
“Thus saith the LORD; For three transgressions of Israel, and for four, I will not turn away the punishment thereof; because they sold the righteous for silver, and the poor for a pair of shoes; That pant after the dust of the earth on the head of the poor, and turn aside the way of the meek: and a man and his father will go in unto the same maid, to profane my holy name: And they lay themselves down upon clothes laid to pledge by every altar, and they drink the wine of the condemned in the house of their god“. Amos 2:6-8
They can kill, steal, and do everything to win the favors of their godfathers. They receive forgiveness in advance even before they commit any offense. They use the influence of the false prophets and prophetesses to consult evil powers to increase and promote witchcraft.
“And when Saul enquired of the LORD, the LORD answered him not, neither by dreams, nor by Urim, nor by prophets. Then said Saul unto his servants, Seek me a woman that hath a familiar spirit, that I may go to her, and enquire of her. And his servants said to him, Behold, there is a woman that hath a familiar spirit at Endor. And Saul disguised himself, and put on other raiments, and he went, and two men with him, and they came to the woman by night: and he said, I pray thee, divine unto me by the familiar spirit, and bring me him up, whom I shall name unto thee. And the woman said unto him, Behold, thou knowest what Saul hath done, how he hath cut off those that have familiar spirits, and the wizards, out of the land: wherefore then layest thou a snare for my life, to cause me to die? And Saul sware to her by the LORD, saying, As the LORD liveth, there shall no punishment happen to thee for this thing“. I Samuel 28:6-10
Since they drove away genuine prophets, they will resort to seeking help from evil spirits which will bring occultism to the church and increase immorality. They will turn away from righteousness and the devil will use sexual sins as a means of releasing fake anointing. The more ladies they defile or deflower, the more false anointing they will operate with. Many great destinies will become victims, not knowing that these ministers use fake demonic power to heal and deliver.
“Thine enemies roar in the midst of thy congregations; they set up their ensigns for signs“. Psalm 74:4
“Not everyone that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of my Father which is in heaven. Many will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in thy name? and in thy name have cast out devils? and in thy name done many wonderful works? And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity“. Matthew 7:21-23
Why you should avoid false prophets and false churches
Ministries or ministers that allow false prophets- spouses and children to rule their lives and ministries should be avoided. They are very wicked and destructive. Isaiah 3:12, 15; I Kings 21:25
