No matter your religion, you are qualified to obtain mercy from God if you demand it through faith and obedience to God and not through disobedience and false hope. The mercy of God is for all, and it cannot be forced on anyone without his choice. In times of need, you can provoke God’s mercy to come to your aid.
To provoke means to arouse a feeling or action. It means to incite, to call forth, or to stir up purposefully. Provoking God’s mercy entails mobilizing God’s power to fight for you; becoming enraged against evil forces for your sake. When you provoke God’s mercy, you receive immediate attention from above.

When God’s mercy is provoked, He can separate you from the crowd, spare your life, and consume your enemies. The faith of the centurion provoked Jesus to action against the evil forces of sickness and death. When you provoke God, sickness and death follow. If you provoke God’s mercy, He can visit your household and remove your shame.
You can provoke God’s mercy by praising him. It means to worship Him, giving Him thanks with a song or using an instrument of music. It is using your mouth to talk about God’s mercies, making people aware of His faithfulness, and not hiding God’s loving kindness but mentioning it at every opportunity. Any holy action or good deed can provoke God’s mercy, especially when you pray. You can provoke God’s mercy by praising him.
Decrees For Mercy
- Arise O God in your mercy, and fight my battles, in Jesus’ name.
- Let all the assembled enemies of my destiny waste themselves with their own weapons, in the name of Jesus.
- Let the strong arms of the Lord be turned against my enemies, in Jesus’ name.
