Keeping Faith Alive as a Believer

When a believer seriously keeps his faith and live a consistent Christian life, his prayers must be answered.  The possibilities of answers to prayers are littered all over the scriptures.

God has promised true dedicated children of the kingdom answers to their prayers.

All physical, spiritual and material needs are to be provided through prayers: Matthew 16:19, 17:20-24, Luke 17:5, 6. John 14:13, 14.  16:23, 24, 15:7

In answers to prayers, believers are assured of salvation and peace of mind.  They are promised to become children of God.  John 1:12, 3:16.  Romans 10:6-13

Full redemption and divine healing can be given as we pray as believers.  Luke 17:11-19.  James 5:14, 15.  Mark 5:34.

There is nothing that God cannot do through prayers to those who trust in Him with all their hearts.  When true and surrendered genuine children of God make their desire and needs known to their God, he supplies all their needs in answer to their prayers.

Persistent Men in the Scriptures

Noah prayed and received answers to his prayers. (Genesis. 8:20-22).  He and his Family were the only ones whom God saved from the Deluge just because of simple obedience and prayers.  (Genesis. 7:7-13, 16-23)

Isaac prayed when the enemy closed the womb of Rebekah his wife and just immediately the Lord was intreated of him and Rebekah conceived (Genesis. 75:21-23)

When the nation of the Philistine began to envy Isaac, stopped his father’s well of water and filled it with the earth and started making serious troubles against, him, it was simple prayers that saved him and they pleaded and made peace with him.  (Genesis. 26:17-25, 26-33).   (Proverbs 16:7)

When Jacob became afraid of his twin brother Esau, he tried many other things but they failed him.  Under that desperate situation, he singled himself out in prayers.  Immediately after his prayers, his destiny changed and he found grace from both God and men and his worst enemy embraced him and kissed him.  Esau had no other option than to drop his weapons of war against Jacob his brother.  He immediately changed his mind and told all the soldiers who were with him to change their mind also.  (Genesis. 32:9-12, 24-30)

Just because of prayers, God appeared to him, blessed him and changed his name from Jacob to Israel (Genesis. 35:14, 15, 9-13).  Prayers can change your situation when you pray according to God’s will.  Prayers kept Joseph alive to the day God promoted him.  Prayer can keep you holy and alive all the time of your trials.

Prayers disturbed God and reminded him of his promise to Abraham, Isaac and Jacob.  The prayer of the defeated Israelites in Egypt forced God to appear before Moses in the wilderness and gave Moses commission to tell Pharaoh to let my people go.  Exodus 2:23-25

Prayers can talk to your Pharaoh no matter how strong and wicked he maybe.  “Pray it again.  They will die”.  Have Faith this time and pray.

If you are under a curse or plague, it is not a strange thing.  Many before you had been cursed, plagued and afflicted but with prayers, they were released.  If you die under a curse, it is because you do not know how to pray and pray all right.  Egypt was under plague.  They did not know how to get to God but they had access to Moses.  Moses had access to God.  When a man that has access to God prays, answers must come.  So Moses prayed and for his sake, God answered and removed the Egyptian plague.  Exodus 8:30, 31

You may have an enemy, sickness or problem that has vowed to destroy you.  Do not allow them to do so because you can pray.  Those who know how to pray cannot die in the hands of stubborn pursuers.  No matter the number of the enemies pursuing them, if they pray, the Lord will answer.  Those who do not know how to pray see their enemy all the time.  When they look at the front and behind, they see their enemies.

When they are sleeping, they dream of their enemies.  When they are in a journey, they see their enemies.  Anywhere they go, they see their enemies.

However, prayerful people are not like that.  Praying men can see their enemy with physical eyes but their spiritual eyes sees their God.  They can see their Red Sea but with the eyes of prayer, God is stronger than the Red Sea.  Prayerful men can see the Egyptian soldiers but they also see heavenly soldiers. When you pray very well, you will see heavenly soldiers marching to defend you.  When you pray very well, the Egyptian army will mean nothing to you.  Pharaoh will not be a threat to your God who answers prayers.
