Many people in our generation today, even Christians, would rather wave off the topic of witchcraft probably because it sounds scary to their ears, and not an immediate topic they would wish to listen to or embrace. Our generation has gone after prosperity teachings and motivations, material things and gaining the whole world at all cost, even at the detriment of their lives.
Many young people in our generation have continued to close their ears to warnings of the old, which are well written through the Scriptures for our learning, for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, and for instruction in righteousness (2Timothy_3:16). Our generation has gone with craze after cures and solutions without minding the root cause of diseases and plagues our world is suffering. Yet, are all these not manipulations of witchcraft?
These revelations should alarm you –
“And he said, Go, and tell this people, Hear ye indeed, but understand not; and see ye indeed, but perceive not. Make the heart of this people fat, and make their ears heavy, and shut their eyes; lest they see with their eyes, and hear with their ears, and understand with their heart, and convert, and be healed”
(Isaiah 6:9-10).
“And the residue thereof he maketh a god, even his graven image: he falleth down unto it, and worshippeth it, and prayeth unto it, and saith, Deliver me; for thou art my god. They have not known nor understood: for he hath shut their eyes, that they cannot see; and their hearts, that they cannot understand”
(Isaiah 44:17-18).

Make no mistake: The queen of heaven and the queen of the seashore both operate primarily by working surreptitiously on their victims without the latter being aware that they are being taken advantage of. Due to its high rate of effectiveness, this military tactic is among the greatest in the entire globe. Because of this, the Scriptures make reference to having open hearts without understanding, heavy ears without listening, open eyes without seeing, and open ears without hearing.
My objective in this book is to bring to your attention why you cannot ignore, for far too long, the notion that witchcraft is still commonplace in our world today, and could be worse than what it used to be in the time of old. To avoid stereotypes, witchcraft does not relate to only old and ugly people as commonly painted in our world today. We have been made to believe that witches are always haggard, ragged, ugly, poor, and old. This is only half-truth. There are young as well as old witches. There are poor and wealthy witches. There are very pretty and very ugly witches as well. The only common thing is that queen of the heaven is the grand master and mother of all witches and wizards.
The word ‘witchcraft’ is mentioned three times in the King James Version of our Bible. Here they are:
“For rebellion is as the sin of witchcraft, and stubbornness is as iniquity and idolatry. Because thou hast rejected the word of the LORD, he hath also rejected thee from being king”
(1 Samuel_15:23).
“And he caused his children to pass through the fire in the valley of the son of Hinnom: also he observed times, and used enchantments, and used witchcraft, and dealt with a familiar spirit, and with wizards: he wrought much evil in the sight of the LORD, to provoke him to anger”
(2 Chronicles_33:6).
“Idolatry, witchcraft, hatred, variance, emulations, wrath, strife, seditions, heresies”
(Galatians_5:20).
The question is, how best do we define witchcraft in a modern day term so you could expand the scope of your spiritual vision and become or remain vigilant like a true Christian should? The Strong dictionary defined witchcraft (H7081 – Qesem) as a lot; also divination (including its fee), oracle: – (reward of) divination, divine sentence. It also defined as a witch (H3784 – Kashaph) as properly to whisper a spell, that is, to enchant, or practice magic: – sorcerer, (use) witch (-craft).
I think you now have a clearer knowledge of what witchcraft is and what witches do in general as a result of the aforementioned definitions. One aspect of the definition of witchcraft that stands out is the statement that anyone who accepts payment for divination has engaged in witchcraft. Similarly, if you have relied on oracle predictions or if you follow their advice, you may find it interesting to realize that you have practiced witchcraft without a formal ritual. It is written –
“There shall not be found among you any one that maketh his son or his daughter to pass through the fire, or that useth divination, or an observer of times, or an enchanter, or a witch”
Deuteronomy_18:10).
Many people assume there must be a formal ceremony or initiation before one is declared a witch or initiated into witchcraft. While that may be true, millions of people have been initiated into witchcraft already without any formal ceremony and without their knowledge. This is a dangerous trend. That is the reason Christians are advised to watch and pray without ceasing.
Would you believe that Satan once sought to sift Peter, who sat in the presence of the Lord, without Peter having an iota of idea what Satan did? Thank God, Jesus was right there to cancel devil’s plans.

- O God, arise and deliver me from witchcraft control, conscious or unconscious initiation and bewitchment, in the name of Jesus.
- Today, right now, I break covenant with witchcraft kingdom, occult kingdom and I hand myself over to Jesus Christ for total control.
- Satan, principalities and powers, leave me alone because I belong to Christ forever, in the name of Jesus.
- Father Lord, I belong to You and Your son, Lord Jesus Christ, by the redeeming power in the precious blood of Jesus.
- Every enemy of Jesus Christ, in and outside my life, be roasted by the judgment fire of God, in the name of Jesus.
- Every enemy of truth in my life, your time is up, be wasted forever and ever.
- Let truth in the Word of God, through Christ my LORD, set me free by force from all problems in my life, in the name of Jesus.
- Power to do evil, disobey God, tell lies, fulfill satanic wishes, please the devil, practice witchcraft, perpetuate evil and destruction, abandon my life forever, in the name of Jesus.
- I command traces of evil nature in my life to wither from their root and die from the foundation.
- You my life, I command you to break away from evil activities.
