Praying Through the Right Channel

Many people who pray, do not direct their prayers to the only true God. They pray but not to the father, and such prayers are not acceptable to God. The majority of prayers are not directed towards the Father who resides in the third heaven. Consequently, these prayers lack the strength to reach God, as they are confined to either the earthly realm or the atmospheric and second heavens, resulting in their inability to be accepted by God.

“But when you pray, go into your room, close the door and pray to your Father, who is unseen. Then your Father, who sees what is done in secret, will reward you”.

Mathew 6:6

“If ye then, being evil, know how to give good gifts unto your children, how much more shall your Father which is in heaven give good things to them that ask him?

Mathew 7:11

The Father’s dwelling place is situated in the third heaven. Thus, it is crucial to direct our prayers solely to Him and not to any earthly or heavenly deities or powers. Moreover, a vital truth is that to receive answers to our prayers from God, we must acknowledge and revere Christ as the only intermediary between God and humanity. We must also make our requests using only Christ’s name.

“And in that day ye shall ask me nothing. Verily, verily, I say unto you, Whatsoever ye shall ask the Father in my name, he will give it you”.

John 16:23

Anyone who must receive an answer from God must bow down, totally surrendering all his life to the Lord Jesus Christ. He must believe in the saving power of Christ and Pray to God through his name alone.

“For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus;”

1 Timothy. 2:5

The name of Jesus is the only name without addition or subtraction that is qualified to receive an answer from God. God cannot turn his face or release an answer to anyone who has anything against Him or his only begotten Son, the Lord Jesus Christ.

“In that day you will no longer ask me anything. I tell you the truth, my Father will give you whatever you ask in my name.  Until now you have not asked for anything in my name. Ask and you will receive, and your joy will be complete”.

John 16:23, 24.

The name of Christ is the only name that instills fear and commands respect from the devil. Any prayer uttered in a different name lacks the power to confront the devil, and it can be easily disrupted by the malevolent forces in the heavenly realm.

“And whatsoever ye shall ask in my name, that will I do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son.  If ye shall ask any thing in my name, I will do it.”

John 14:13-14.
