Adam and Eve sinned and hid themselves from God. In the end, God judged them and drove them out of His presence. In Adam, all men became sinners and captives to sin, judgment, and death. Sin made man rebel against God, thereby incurring the death penalty.
“For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God”
Romans 3:23
Man, having received a death sentence, was unable to pay the debt of his penalty in order to live again and fulfill his purpose on Earth. Thankfully, this led God to initiate a redemption plan for man by sending His only begotten Son to reconcile us back to our God, our source, and our creator. That is why God is still calling you to return to Him.

Many people blame the prodigal son for his useless lifestyle. However, a critical look at the prodigal son’s repentance shows that he is better than most of us. The prodigal son returned to his earthly father on his own. He overcame the obstacles in his path. All men have gone astray and many have done the worst thing by rejecting Jesus.
“Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me”
John 14:6
Jesus Christ is a divine provision, the only way back to God. He is the only one who met the conditions demanded by the scripture to redeem man from the captivity of the devil. The atonement of Christ is the reconciliation of sinful man to God, made possible through the perfect sacrifice and death of Christ and therefore, there is no salvation outside the blood of Jesus Christ. If you reject the blood of Jesus and refuse to accept His sacrifice, you will no longer find favor with God.
You have the opportunity to repent, believe and follow Christ back to our creator and if you reject Jesus’s sacrifice on the cross of Calvary, you will be eternally condemned for not accepting in invitation to return to God. Again, repentance is turning away from all sins completely. It is when you turn away from sin with all your heart. Hence, no matter how corrupt, averse, spiritually blind, deaf or dead you are, if you accept Christ, He will give you abundant life and bring you back to Your Father, the creator of heaven and earth. What a great privilege!
“For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God”
Ephesians 2:8
Salvation is God’s grace and Christ already paid the price when He accepted to die for humanity on the cross of Calvary. Take a decision to return to God today before it is too late!
