Tapping into His Grace

The Grace of God is inexhaustible and yet must not be wasted or received in vain. It is God’s will for every believer to receive His fullness of grace and grace upon grace. To stop at the initial grace after salvation is not God’s will. Every believer is expected to move on to accessing more grace to be more profitable to God.

For from his fullness, we have all received, grace upon grace“. John 1:16

But the free gift is not like the trespass. For if many died through one man’s trespass, much more have the grace of God and the free gift by the grace of that one-man Jesus Christ abounded for many. Now the law came in to increase the trespass, but where sin increased, grace abounded all the more, For if, because of one man’s trespass, death reigned through that one man, much more will those who receive the abundance of grace and the free gift of righteousness reign in life through the one-man Jesus Christ“. Romans 5:15, 20, 17

The necessity of prayer

God’s grace is a gift from Him to us. All we need to do is go to God in prayer to receive what rightly belongs to us as believers. God’s grace helps believers to be mature in faith and to be given an office in God’s kingdom. God’s grace will enable you to rise to any level in life; sin will be dethroned while righteousness will be enthroned.

Are pastors more privileged than other believers in accessing and enjoying God’s grace?

No pastor, priest, or any titled person has any right to obtain God’s grace more than any other believer. The death of Jesus overturned the works of the devil; by His grace, any believer can rise to the highest level in Christ’s kingdom. The abundance of God’s grace awaits to lift believers far beyond their imagination.

Can believers rise to enjoy divine abundant grace?

No one’s grace is our standard, so you can rise above the highest gifted person in Christ if you desire and pray for divine abundant grace. The judgment that came upon you when you sinned was destroyed when you accepted Christ through the grace of God. You receive the initial power to overcome sin at the point of salvation. When you ask for more grace, God will release it to enable you to live more righteously, which is pleasing to God.

The power of God’s grace over sin expounded.

God’s grace destroys the root of sin because where sin reigned before, grace overthrew it and reigned instead.

What shall we say then? Are we to continue in sin that grace may abound? By no means! How can we who died to sin still live in it?” Romans 6:1, 2

In him we have redemption through his blood, the forgiveness of our trespasses, according to the riches of his grace, which he lavished upon us, in all wisdom and insight“. Ephesians 1:7, 8

God’s grace forbids sin from abounding where it used to abound. Salvation which comes by God’s grace terminates sin with its investment in our lives. When a believer asks for more grace, he is asking to be promoted to a higher level or measure.

What happens when a believer doesn’t ask for more grace?

When he fails to ask, sin can come back and overcome him at his weak moment. So, no matter the level of grace you have as a believer, you can always ask for more because no level is enough. From abundant grace, you can advance to the riches of His grace to receive all wisdom and prudence. God’s grace is inexhaustible and believers are called to keep asking for more.

So that in the coming ages he might show the immeasurable riches of his grace in kindness toward us in Christ Jesus“. Ephesians 2:7

But he gives more grace. Therefore, it says, “God opposes the proud but gives grace to the humble.” James 4:6

And after you have suffered a little while, the God of all grace, who has called you to his eternal glory in Christ, will himself restore, confirm, strengthen, and establish you“.1 Peter 5:10
