Long life is a gift from God. He promised to satisfy His children with long life and peace. Besides God, there is no other source of long life and peace. Let no man deceive you, God is the only source of long life.
“That thou mayest love the LORD thy God, and that thou mayest obey his voice, and that thou mayest cleave unto him: for he is thy life, and the length of thy days: that thou mayest dwell in the land which the LORD sware unto thy fathers, to Abraham, to Isaac, and to Jacob, to give them”
(Deuteronomy 30:20).
“He asked life of thee, and thou gavest it him, even length of days forever and ever”
(Psalms 21:4).
“For length of days, and long life, and peace, shall they add to thee”
(Proverbs 3:2).
God wants His children to enjoy healthy living and long life. He does not want you to wallow in sickness and disease, which are from Satan. That is why you need to enter the covenant of healing with God immediately.
Devil is the source of strange sicknesses, diseases and afflictions. Though the causes vary, the main source is Satan through his instrument of sin.
Let’s consider Job for instance, Job was perfectly sound in health before the devil visited him and smote him with sores and boils from the sole of his foot to his head.

When he speaketh a lie, he speaketh of his own: for he is a liar, and the father of The thief cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy: I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly”
(John 8:44; 10:10; 5:14).
According to the Bible, the devil is a killer. Because God believed that everything He made was good, there were no illnesses or diseases when He created man. But when the devil arrived, he killed the goodness and health of man. He took away the happiness and calm of man and started to sicken and infect them. People are not visited by the devil arbitrarily. His goal is to take and destroy the beautiful things that God made for man’s enjoyment on earth, as well as to kill people’s joy and tranquility.
The Devil’s main tool is sin, which he employs to drive a wedge between us and God, our creator, before targeting our futures with a variety of issues. God, however, has not abandoned us to the whims of the devil. He sent Christ to annihilate the works of the devil. That was why the best advice Christ gave to people was, “Go and sin no more lest a worse thing come unto thee”
If you can avoid sin and devil, you will surely live long with sound health. You need good health to fulfill your purpose on earth. However, if you are sick already, receive your healing through the Word of God, in the name of Jesus. Do whatever that is in your power to separate yourself from sin and the devil.
