God started the creation with the weapons of decree. The question is, how did he create? What weapons did He use? Our God created the heaven and earth with the weapons of decree out of nothing. He just came out with nothing and passed a decree and from nowhere the things we see today were created by the weapons of ancient decrees.
And God said, let there be light: and there was light. And God said, let there be a firmament in the midst of the waters, and let it divide the waters from the waters. And God said, Let the waters under the heaven be gathered together unto one place, and let the dry land appear: and it was so. And God said, Let the earth bring forth grass, the herb yielding seed, and the fruit tree yielding fruit after his kind, whose seed is in itself, upon the earth: and it was so. And God said, let there be lights in the firmament of the heaven to divide the day from the night; and let them be for signs, and for seasons, and for days, and years:

Later, God with the same weapon, created man in his own image after his likeness. In addition, He empowered man to have dominion over other creatures including the serpent. To create man in his own image means a lot.
And God said, let us make man in our image, after our likeness: and let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over the cattle, and over all the earth, and over every creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth. So God created man in his own image, in the image of God created he him; male and female created he them. And God blessed them, and God said unto them, be fruitful, and multiply, and replenish the earth, and subdue it: and have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over every living thing that moveth upon the earth.

It means to possess divine power, to replicate, and to emulate God. It means to be exactly like God, to be remarkably similar to another person in God. On earth, man serves as God’s tangible or obvious representative. God gave him the authority to rule over all other living things just as God did in heaven and on earth. God created man to be his emissary, agent, and steward on earth. God created man to serve as his earthly representative. After giving man the ability to rule, God made sure he had all he needed to live peacefully on earth and gave him one law to uphold.

Genesis 2:8-10, 15,16, 17
He could create, reproduce and change situations as he liked. The only thing God asked him not to do was not to eat any fruit from a single tree.
But of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, thou shalt not eat of it: for in the day that thou eatest thereof thou shalt surely die.
Genesis 2:17
Instead of Adam using the ancient weapons of decree to challenge his wife’s action and that of the serpent, he surrendered his leadership to the devil through the serpent and ate the forbidden fruit. He listened to his wife instead of listening and keeping the command of God.
And the serpent said unto the woman, ye shall not surely die: for God doth know that in the day ye eat thereof, then your eyes shall be opened, and ye shall be as gods, knowing good and evil. And when the woman saw that the tree was good for food, and that it was pleasant to the eyes, and a tree to be desired to make one wise, she took of the fruit thereof, and did eat, and gave also unto her husband with her; and he did eat.
Genesis 3:4-6.
It was this disobedience that brought problems on earth. Man lost the power of ancient decree and problems took over. It was as a result of the problems that accompanied the curse that made prayers necessary, otherwise there would have been no need for prayers because every need of man had been provided. The devil took over the leadership of the world and through sin, he introduced a lot of problems. That was how man began to cry unto God in prayer. Sin and problems brought the need for prayers to God. Those who repented started praying to God for divine intervention. Those who are on the side of the devil were using all manner of summons to destroy believers.
The devil used the weapon of sin to bring in many problems to attack man. At times, he used the weapon of ignorance to attack the believers who are true children of God.
So went Satan forth from the presence of the LORD, and smote Job with sore boils from the sole of his foot unto his crown.
Job 2:7
Afterward Jesus findeth him in the temple, and said unto him, Behold, thou art made whole: sin no more, lest a worse thing come unto thee.

When believers pray to God because of problems, God answers immediately. Some level of demons backing up the problems bow but some still insist and remain.
Believers do not pray to the devil; they decree against him. They can pray to God, complain to him and invite him into the battle field but at times or most times they need to pass a decree against the devil in the battle field. If need be, just hand him over to God.
And he shewed me Joshua the high priest standing before the angel of the LORD, and Satan standing at his right hand to resist him. And the LORD said unto Satan, The LORD rebuke thee, O Satan; even the LORD that hath chosen Jerusalem rebuke thee: is not this a brand plucked out of the fire?
Zechariah 3:1-2
Eve, Adam and the serpent and all mankind are in trouble because they failed to use the words of decree against the devil. The serpent has the right to say “no” to the devil and insist that he will not be used. Eve has the right to decree against the devil and the serpent and refuse to eat the fruit. Adam also has the right and power to invite the serpent and the devil and decree against them. If he was confused on how to handle his wife, he would have invited God who sent him as an ambassador on earth. Now that Jesus has delivered and restored unto us the power of dominion, we must arise and decree against the devil and his works.
Prayers Of Decree
- Any evil thing that is passed into my life by my ancestors, I reject you forever.
- The iniquities of my fathers shall not cleave into my destiny.
- Any evil and invisible problem moving round my body from wicked utterances, be demobilized by fire.
- Let all the invisible barriers standing against me perish forever. You that power postponing my miracles, be removed by force.
- Let all the evil words spoken against me by people in authority over me in the past expire.
- All evil statement legally made against me, die immediately.
- I decree that every evil word put together to torment my life shall no longer function.
- You my destiny, reject every evil pronouncement that is blocking my way to breakthroughs.
- I command every ancestral inherited curse in my life to be dis-inherited now.
- The iniquities of my fathers shall not cleave into my destiny.
