The Bible is an effective instrument for deliverance because it is the only book in which God reveals His mind to humankind. Every problem on earth today, including personal, family, tribal, and national, has its perfect solution in the scriptures. Preachers, deliverance ministers, and pastors must be specialists in handling the Bible in order to be effective in this ministry.
Deliverance ministers who do not know the scriptures cannot last. The anointing or so-called exploit of any deliverance minister or pastor is useless if he does not know the scriptures. Without a thorough study of the scriptures and their right application, no deliverance minister or pastor can make meaningful progress toward the level of eternity.

The scripture should not only be studied; as a believer, you should also practice everything you learn in the scripture. Believers who study the scriptures and practice them are very wise and can succeed anywhere in the whole world. This is the only book that can convert the soul of man from evil to righteousness.
The law of the LORD is perfect, converting the soul: the testimony of the LORD is sure, making wise the simple.
Psalm 19:7
