The Love of Money

Money, money, money! You think about money; you work for it, you spend it, you stress over it. While money may not be the most important thing in life, a very significant measure of your life is going to revolve around trying to earn, spend, and save this money. Your encounter with money is not going to be a brief one. You will desire to get rich and wealthy.

I have heard so many people profess their desire to cry in a Ferrari rather than be happy on the streets. Apparently, it no longer matters if money cannot buy happiness. They would rather be unhappy but with riches. So it is with this brevity that some engage in different means in order to get rich. Some resort to the infamous occultism, which involves killing, destroying, and stealing people’s destinies to make money.

Satan is the god of occultism. The remarkable thing about anything he offers you is that he will always come to take it back, and with interest too. It is not in his nature to be good, so he cannot extend any goodness towards anyone. You may sacrifice the destiny of other people to get wealth, but you will not enjoy your wealth, no matter how long you live on earth.

“6They that trust in their wealth, and boast themselves in the multitude of their riches; 10For he seeth that wise men die, likewise the fool and the brutish person perish, and leave their wealth to others”

Psalms 49:6, 10

The devil can entice you with money and deceive you into killing, influencing you to withdraw your trust in God, thereby weakening your faith in God. Ironically, as you begin to grow stronger in your evil activities, you will also prosper greatly as you do more things that are unimaginable. He can compel you to trust him as you do evil, but he will turn around later to torment you. He knows how to lure you into evil, but when life appears meaningful and it is time to enjoy the wealth, you end up dying shamefully.

“A man to whom God hath given riches, wealth, and honor, so that he wanted nothing for his soul of all that he desired, yet God gives him not power to eat thereof, but a stranger eateth it: this is vanity, and it is an evil disease”

Ecclesiastes 6:2

“They spend their days in wealth, and in a moment go down to the grave”

Job 21:13

“12But as many as received him, to them gave the power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name: And ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free. If the Son therefore shall make you free, ye shall be free indeed”
