The Power in the Blood of Jesus

And to Jesus the mediator of the new covenant, and to the blood of sprinkling, that speaketh better things than that of Abel”

(Hebrew 12:24).

This was the blood that spoke to three thousand people on the Pentecost Day, and they were pricked in their hearts. Those who beat and murdered Jesus asked the greatest question of their lives, “What shall we do?” (Acts 2:37).  This blood healed a man who was born crippled, and had stayed forty years in that condition. By His stripes, the man was healed (Acts 3:67).

Through faith in this blood a miracle took place and five thousand sinners without hope were fed with the word of  God and they all repented and escaped hell (Acts 4:1-4). This was the blood that confronted many sick people, saved them from their sins, and healed their sicknesses as recorded in the scriptures (Acts 5:12-16). This was the blood that spoke to the prison gates through an angel and Peter was delivered (Acts 12:6-10). This was the blood that spoke to death, and Hutches, who was dead, escaped the grip of death (Acts 20:9-12).

This was the blood that silenced all the marine voices, the violence of the queen of the coast in the high sea, for Apostle Paul’s sake. This blood defeated and disgraced the south wind and confronted the tempestuous wind called, Euroclydon, which was established in a marine crossroads altar in the high sea against Paul.

“And when the south wind blew softly, supposing that they had obtained their purpose, loosing thence, they sailed close by Crete. But not long after there arose against it a tempestuous wind, called Euroclydon. And when the ship was caught, and could not bear up into the wind, we let her drive. And running under a certain island which is called Clauda, we had much work to come by the boat: 17Which when they had taken up, they used helps, undergirding the ship; and, fearing lest they should fall into the quicksands, strake sail, and so were driven”

(Acts 27:13-17).

The voice of this blood put to shame, the powers that bewitched a whole city; and silenced the voice of the highest wizard of his generation. Thus, he delivered people who had for a very long time been under bewitchment (Acts 8:5-12).

The blood of Jesus has the power to break the chains of infertility, incurable illnesses, poverty, delayed marriages, unemployment, failure, and all other negative aspects of life. It is a powerful force that surpasses the blood of Abel. When the blood of Jesus Christ speaks, all other voices will become silent.

A sister had a problem getting married. Each time a brother proposed to her, a man would appear to her in a dream and say: “For better, for worse, you are married; why do you want to marry again?” The next day, the brother would become discouraged, and that would be the end of the proposal. When she started deliverance sessions, she saw herself locked up in the dream within an old house. This sister said that she was the only person in that dream who had new flesh, as all the others were like skeletons.

According to her, she heard a knock on the door and heard the voice of a man. Immediately, the security guard asked him who he was and what he came for. She said that at that juncture, the man who knocked mentioned her name as the person he came to take away from there. Nevertheless, the security guard laughed and stated: “It is not possible because nobody has ever come in here and was let go.”

The sister went further to say that the man quoted some portions of the scriptures and claimed that she was a Christian. The security guard agreed but insisted that none of their captives there had ever been allowed to go. As the argument continued, the evil power at the gate reluctantly opened the door and allowed her to go. While the two of them were going away from that place, she woke up. Miraculously, within next few days, a brother came, made a marriage proposal to her, and eventually married her. The blood of Jesus can speak you out of every problem or calamity. No blood of all evil sacrifices put together can challenge the precious blood of our Redeemer, Jesus Christ.
