God’s mercy establishes God’s power over you and vindicates you from all enemies.
His mercy brings divine vindication and makes him hear your prayers. The evil desires of your enemies against you will be turned against them if you obtain God’s mercy. Divine mercy comes with a holy oil to anoint those who have found God’s mercy. Once anointed, you become a particular person, singled out for uncommon blessings. Divine strength will rest upon such a person until he is established by God’s power, according to God’s plan.
“In thy name shall they rejoice all the day: and in thy righteousness shall they be exalted. For thou art the glory of their strength: and in thy favour our horn shall be exalted“. Psalms 89:16, 17
God’s mercy moves God to remember His promises in answer to our prayers in His name. God’s name is a strong tower; the righteous run into it, and he is safe or delivered.
How do we run into His name to be saved or delivered from the enemy?
“And whatsoever ye shall ask in my name, that will I do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son. If ye shall ask any thing in my name, I will do it“. John 14:13-14
“Wherefore God also hath highly exalted him, and given him a name which is above every name: That at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of things in heaven, and things in earth, and things under the earth; And that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father“. Philippians 2:9-11
The name of Christ is the most significant way to receive answers to our prayers. Anything can happen when we use the name of Christ to pray in righteousness.
Divine Mercy Guarantees Victory
God’s mercy will endure until His candidates receives complete deliverance. When the Red Sea saw that the mercy of God was on the battlefield, it bowed. The powers in the Red Sea noticed it and created an expressway right amid the sea. When the mercy of God rises to fight for you, all the creatures will be involved. Amid the Red Sea, darkness and light got engaged in battle.
And it came between the camp of the Egyptians and the camp of Israel; and it was a cloud and darkness to them, but it gave light by night to these: so that the one came not near the other all the night.
“And Moses stretched forth his hand over the sea, and the sea returned to his strength when the morning appeared; and the Egyptians fled against it; and the Lord overthrew the Egyptians in the midst of the sea“. Exodus 14:20, 27
God’s Mercy Brings Courage, Victory And Fearlessness
Another great benefit of God’s mercy is fearlessness or courage. Though fear is a strongman, yet God says, “Fear not”. His mercy positions and enables you to fight your enemies and become victorous.
“Fear thou not; for I am with thee: be not dismayed; for I am thy God: I will strengthen thee; yea, I will help thee; yea, I will uphold thee with the right hand of my righteousness. Fear not, thou worm Jacob, and ye men of Israel; I will help thee, saith the Lord, and thy redeemer, the Holy One of Israel“. Isaiah 41:10, 14
God knows that fear is one of the weapons the devil uses to control humanity. Fear is a giant, but God says we must fear our fears. The term ‘Fear not’ was mentioned about 365 times in the bible, and we have 365 days in a year. In that case, we have at least one ‘fear not’ from God every day of the year.
