The Path to the Throne

The Glory of the Throne

All the suffering on earth, the hardship, everything negative heaped on you is worth going through provided you make it to the throne. The memory of failures, defeats and sufferings will vanish the moment you stand before that throne. Jesus will avenge you of everything the devil has ever done against you.

We as the redeemed will shout Alleluia before the throne. Joy will enter your bones, marrow as the voice of great multitude like many waters, mighty thundering from among the saints will sing saying Alleluia, for the Lord God Omnipotent reigneth

‘And the four beasts had each of them six wings about him; and they were full of eyes within: and they rest not day and night, saying, Holy, holy, holy, Lord God Almighty, which was, and is, and is to come. 9 And when those beasts give glory and honor and thanks to him that sat on the throne, who liveth for ever and ever, The four and twenty elders fall down before him that sat on the throne, and worship him that liveth for ever and ever, and cast their crowns before the throne, saying, Thou art worthy, O Lord, to receive glory and honor and power: for thou hast created all things, and for thy pleasure they are and were created’ (Revelation 4:8-11).

‘And the four beasts said, Amen. And the four and twenty elders fell down and worshipped him that liveth for ever and ever’ (Revelation 5:9-14).

‘After this I beheld, and, lo, a great multitude, which no man could number, of all nations, and kindreds, and people, and tongues, stood before the throne, and before the Lamb, clothed with white robes, and palms in their hands; And cried with a loud voice, saying, Salvation to our God which sitteth upon the throne, and unto the Lamb. And all the angels stood round about the throne, and about the elders and the four beasts, and fell before the throne on their faces, and worshipped God, Saying, Amen: Blessing, and glory, and wisdom, and thanksgiving, and honor, and power, and might, be unto our God for ever and ever. Amen’ (Revelation 7:9-12).

‘These have power to shut heaven, that it rain not in the days of their prophecy: and have power over waters to turn them to blood, and to smite the earth with all plagues, as often as they will. Saying, We give thee thanks, O Lord God Almighty, which art, and wast, and art to come; because thou hast taken to thee thy great power, and hast reigned’ (Revelation 11:16-17).

‘And after these things I heard a great voice of much people in heaven, saying, Alleluia; Salvation, and glory, and honor, and power, unto the Lord our God: For true and righteous are his judgments: for he hath judged the great whore, which did corrupt the earth with her fornication, and hath avenged the blood of his servants at her hand. And again they said, Alleluia. And her smoke rose up for ever and ever. And the four and twenty elders and the four beasts fell down and worshipped God that sat on the throne, saying, Amen; Alleluia. And a voice came out of the throne, saying, Praise our God, all ye his servants, and ye that fear him, both small and great. And I heard as it were the voice of a great multitude, and as the voice of many waters, and as the voice of mighty thunderings, saying, Alleluia: for the Lord God omnipotent reigneth. Let us be glad and rejoice, and give honor to him: for the marriage of the Lamb is come, and his wife hath made herself ready. And to her was granted that she should be arrayed in fine linen, clean and white: for the fine linen is the righteousness of saints. And he saith unto me, Write, Blessed are they which are called unto the marriage supper of the Lamb. And he saith unto me, These are the true sayings of God’ (Revelation 19:1-9).

The Worship in Heaven

At the end of the ends, God takes the glory while fallen angels and fallen men are banished from heaven. All rebels are out of sight, no more witchcraft, oppression and problem. Holy angels and the redeemed men now worship God. They pour unceasing praise unto God in worship and adoration. This is the culmination of God’s redemptive plan. His purpose of creation and redemption is ultimately fulfilled –

‘Thou art worthy, O Lord, to receive glory and honor and power: for thou hast created all things, and for thy pleasure they are and were created’ (Revelation 4:11).

No prayer warriors, marriage committee, building committee, board members or church accountant who handles church money are mentioned. The reason is because there will be no need for those things. Only singers, praise worshippers with the angels, trained to do so are there. Will you be there? To be there, you have to repent, confess all your sins, forsake them and get involved in praising God here on earth, no matter what you go through. Learn how to honor God, praise Him and thank Him, no matter what you are going through. David sang the song of deliverance when he was in fear, danger, trouble and affliction. Learn how to sing in the midst of trouble, fears, dangers and afflictions.

‘I will bless the LORD at all times: his praise shall continually be in my mouth. My soul shall make her boast in the LORD: the humble shall hear thereof, and be glad. O magnify the LORD with me, and let us exalt his name together. I sought the LORD, and he heard me, and delivered me from all my fears’ (Psalms 34:1-4).

‘Many are the afflictions of the righteous: but the LORD delivereth him out of them all’ (Psalms 34:19).

The Call to Praise and Holiness

The gratitude of the psalmist prompted him thankfully to record the goodness of the Lord. He resolved to bless the Lord at all times, because he knew to whom praise is due and what is due and for what and when. By right of creation and redemption, the Lord has a monopoly in His creatures’ praise.

At all times, in every situation, under every circumstance, before, in and after trials, in bright days and dark nights of fears, the Lord deserves our praise and worship. While the people of the world by sight, trust in the arm of the flesh, the people of God should trust in the arm of the Lord, the people of God should trust in the name of the Lord our God.

All who believe in God, praising and gives thanks to Him will rise victorious. God is a holy God; the people that worship Him must be holy. If you cannot praise God here, you will not join the heavenly worshippers after the rapture. To be delivered from the great coming suffering, you have to do everything possible to be raptured. You have to get committed to the work of God after being born again.

Christ gave all for us and left all the glory of heaven that we might be ransomed. There should therefore be nothing too great and no price too high for us as we show our loyalty to God. The early disciples followed Christ and went on to become fishers of men. Paul is the pacesetter in working with God in the New Testament.

To work for God and be raptured:

  • You are expected to possess true holiness (Ephesians 4:24, 1Peter 1:14-16, Psalm 15:1-3, 119:172, Proverbs 31:26).
  • You must allow the truth to remain as it is in Christ (Ephesians 4:20-21, 1Thessalonians 4:9, 2 John 4).
  • You must give no place to the devil (Ephesians 4:27, Luke 11:24-26, 1 Peter 5:8-9).
