God’s Judgment Against the Spirit of Jezebel

The Deceptive Influence of the Prophetess

The filthy prophetess in the church in Thyatira overpowered the ministers and members with her false teaching of deceit. She seduced the members of the church with her powerful witchcraft and the spirit of Jezebel. She spread immorality and mislead many with idolatrous worship. Christ sent a letter and confronted her with terrible and fierce judgment.

‘Behold, I will cast her into a bed, and them that commit adultery with her into great tribulation, except they repent of their deeds. And I will kill her children with death; and all the churches shall know that I am he which searcheth the reins and hearts: and I will give unto every one of you according to your works’ (Revelations 2:22-23).

God hates sin and brings judgment against unrepentant sinners. Every backslider and sinners in the church will be rewarded. Ministers and members who practice and teach evil in any place will not go free. All whose lifestyle promotes sin and influence people to rebel against God’s word will be judged and punished fiercely by God. No unrepentant sinner will go free unpunished. Sinners and their followers will be cast into the bed of affliction. In times of their trouble, no one will be able to help or deliver them. Their children and all their supporters will suffer at the same time. In the past, the spirit of Jezebel hates and kills believers without negotiation but today, she negotiates. This is the spirit that demanded the head of John the Baptist and got it. This is the spirit that stoned Stephen unto death. This spirit fought and killed all the Apostles except John. This spirit entered into kings, leaders to persecute the church. By the time Christ wrote the seven letters to the seven churches, this spirit was in all the seven churches persecuting them.

The Spirit of Jezebel Through History

The Emperor of Rome Domitian was used as human weapon by the spirit of Jezebel. At that time, the spirit entered into the Emperor to arrest John. John was the only Apostle of Christ remaining alive. Others were persecuted and killed. She put John through all forms of suffering and troubled him to deny Christ but he remained steadfast. He was very old at that time but he refused to surrender to all the negotiations presented to him by Jezebel. Finally, they decided to boil him alive in a drum of boiling oil. In the midst of the boiled oil, he escaped alive miraculously. They took him to exile and dropped him in the midst of wild animals in an isle of Patmos. While he was there alone in the midst of unfriendly breeze, winds, abandoned to suffer and die, he saw a vision. Christ appeared to him in His full priesthood, full glory, authority, wisdom, purity, victory and omniscience. The Lord Jesus manifested in the isle of Patmos to visit His abandoned servant in a princely and true prophetic office. If you are going through any persecution, attacks from the spirit of Jezebel, your time for deliverance has come. Christ knows where you are abandoned, what you are going through now, your time of deliverance has come. The Christ that John ate and dined together came to save him. Christ did not come like He used to come when John knew Him.

‘And when I saw him, I fell at his feet as dead. And he laid his right hand upon me, saying unto me, Fear not; I am the first and the last: I am he that liveth, and was dead; and, behold, I am alive for evermore, Amen; and have the keys of hell and of death’ (Revelation 1:17-18).

He came with total wisdom, complete purity and with a piercing, penetrating insight and full knowledge. Jesus appeared to John with full glory and triumph over all powers, enemies and all problems. He came in the greatness of His power and final authority, in His great beauty and brilliance to judge the spirit of Jezebel in the church.

The Revelation and Judgment of Jezebel

At that point of His appearance, John and all his righteousness could not stand the righteousness, the glory, the majesty and the authority that accompanied Christ from heaven. He could not stand the light, so he fell down at Christ’s feet as dead. Christ touched him with His right hand and introduced Himself as the first and the last. Jezebel with all her problems upon you is not the first and the last. They do not have the final say over your life. If she has killed your health, ministry, marriage, business or everything in you and buried them. Christ has the keys of where she locked you, the keys of every graveyard, hell and death. Your deliverance will take place. Christ banished every fear and told John to stop fearing. In the midst of an Island, a lonely place, void of human existence, Christ visited him. Where you are now is better than where John was, yet Christ visited him and delivered him. Even if you were swallowed by a witch, a wizard or death, they will vomit you today, right now. Christ appeared to John with a new ministry, a commission.

‘Write the things which thou hast seen, and the things which are, and the things which shall be hereafter; The mystery of the seven stars which thou sawest in my right hand, and the seven golden candlesticks. The seven stars are the angels of the seven churches: and the seven candlesticks which thou sawest are the seven churches’ (Revelation 1:19-20).

He gave him a pen, a writing material to write. He started writing under divine command. From today, your dream life will change; you will see vision and a new commission from Christ. In obedience to the commission, John wrote chapter one of sixteen and God opened his eyes wider again. What did God, Christ show him? What did he see, who was that and why did Christ show him?

And there came one of the seven angels which had the seven vials, and talked with me, saying unto me, Come hither; I will shew unto thee the judgment of the great whore that sitteth upon many waters’ (Revelation 17:1).

He was invited by one of the seven angels to a throne, the headquarters of Jezebel, a great whore, a great prostitute that sitteth upon many waters. He was told that this woman will be judged. She will not go free of all her persecutions, attacks and abominations against the church. John was brought to the day the woman, the Jezebel that used the emperor against him will be judged. John was alive, fit, strong and in faith the day his enemy will be judged and his full deliverance from every trouble. You have seen so many problems, faced all manner of attack in life and have really suffered. But thank God you are alive today to see the judgment of the personality in charge of all your troubles. John was called to see the judgment of the woman in charge of all his suffering in life, problems in the churches. This woman, all her unrepentant agents and children will be judged, they will face fierce and terrible judgment.

‘Behold, I will cast her into a bed, and them that commit adultery with her into great tribulation, except they repent of their deeds. And I will kill her children with death; and all the churches shall know that I am he which searcheth the reins and hearts: and I will give unto every one of you according to your works’ (Revelation 2:22-23).
