Strength Rooted in God
They were strong in the Lord with their little strength, not in witchcraft, false prophesy or fighting one another. Not in waste, stealing God’s money or building personal kingdom. Their strength was small, very little, but they managed it and used it to serve God, used what they had to please only God. Their strengths, promotions, wealth’s, transfers did not come from charms, witch doctors, occult group or from demon possessed godfathers.
With little strength, they were strong in the Lord and in the power of His might. They never despised that little strength because they knew it came from God. That little strength was small but it is greater than the power in the whole world put together. Any gift you receive from God is greater in quality and quantity than every other thing in this world. If you receive a little power from God, it is greater, bigger and better than every other power on earth. You can overcome the devil, his agents and all the problems of this world with any little power from God.
You can overcome any problem, any mountain, and every opposition with a little power from God. You are richer, better, greater than the whole world with a little measure of God’s strength.
‘Because the foolishness of God is wiser than men; and the weakness of God is stronger than men’ (1Corinthians 1:25).
The Foolishness and Weakness of God
It is an insult to God to say or believe that anything from Him is small or too little to bring your deliverance. God’s foolishness without His wisdom at all, is better than the best wisdom on earth. Any wisdom that the devil can offer you is more foolish than a little foolishness from God. God’s worst is far better than the wisdom of the devil put together.
A believer that chose to operate on earth with the smallest foolishness of God is better than all the wisdom of devil on earth put together. The men or women of wisdom you seek for their help in watch doctor’s altars, occult altars and all dark kingdom are agents of the devil. Whatever they can give you is lighter than nothing to compare with the foolishness you can receive from God. If you chose to operate only on God’s foolishness in this earth, you are far better than any man or woman serving the devil.
Devil’s wisdom gathered, heaped upon one single occult group is far less when compared to God’s smallest foolishness. No wonder, God said, my people perish for lack of knowledge. If you are looking for power to make wealth, become rich, perform miracles, heal the sick and solve every problem on earth, they are with God. Supposing you fail to get God’s power, you can get His weakness.
God’s weakness is stronger than the strongest of men that serve the devil. Pastors, minister who go to satanic agents, occult group, and witchcraft groups are the most foolish creature on earth. It is better to look for God’s weakness or foolishness than to look for the whole power of the devil. If such pastors, ministers or believers ever were born again, they are under deceit. This is because little strength Christ talked about is the power of salvation.
Teaching the Power of Salvation
‘I know thy works: behold, I have set before thee an open door, and no man can shut it: for thou hast a little strength, and hast kept my word, and hast not denied my name… Because thou hast kept the word of my patience, I also will keep thee from the hour of temptation, which shall come upon all the world, to try them that dwell upon the earth’ (Revelation 3:8, 10).
The little strength in this passage is the initial power a sinner receives in the day he repents. It is called the power of salvation. This power cuts a sinner from sin and from the world at salvation. This was the only power the believers in Philadelphia used to overcome every problem. Their ministers exposed them to the fruits of the Spirit and how to become ambassadors of Christ on earth. They were taught on how to be servants to each other, servant to God, a builder of God’s kingdom, a chosen vessel, a steward and ministers.
They were taught on how to forsake sin, Satan and self to follow the Savior. They were led to turn away from darkness to walk in the light. They were taught about the narrow gate, encouraged to enter narrow gate, how to walk in the narrow way. To walk worthy of the vocation where with they were called, they chose to follow the narrow way. They were taught on how to walk in good relationship with one another in their church, at home in the society.
In Philadelphia, the ministers, leaders, bishops taught them about lowliness, meekness, longsuffering, forbearance, love, unity with the church, one another, peace among themselves. They were taught to examine themselves at all times, daily, with their wives, husbands, fellow believers, parents, children, neighbors, co-workers and others in the light of the scriptures. They were taught step by step, without a rush and were given the opportunity to put them in practice. They know these things before going into the school of prayer, ministry, and deliverance. The ministers in Philadelphia church ministered deliverance on them, proved them as saved, sanctified, holy with the little strength they have before giving them positions in the church.
