The Distinguishing Power of Divine Mercy

Divine mercy can distinguish a man from others by granting him favor before kings and all men. Daniel was distinguished from others because he enjoyed Divine Mercy. He served with various kings because God’s mercy was upon him.

That they would desire mercies of the God of heaven concerning this secret; that Daniel and his fellows should not perish with the rest of the wise men of Babylon“. Daniel 2:18

Wherefore it shall come to pass, if ye hearken to these judgments, and keep, and do them, that the Lord thy God shall keep unto thee the covenant and the mercy which he sware unto thy fathers: And he will love thee, and bless thee, and multiply thee: he will also bless the fruit of thy womb, and the fruit of thy land, thy corn, and thy wine, and thine oil, the increase of thy kine, and the flocks of thy sheep, in the land which he sware unto thy fathers to give thee. Thou shalt be blessed above all people: there shall not be male or female barren among you, or among your cattle. And the Lord will take away from thee all sickness, and will put none of the evil diseases of Egypt, which thou knowest, upon thee; but will lay them upon all them that hate thee“. Deuteronomy 7:12-15

Divine Mercy Will Distinguish You.

You will be singled out and separated from the multitude when mercy comes. The King of Babylon passed judgment against all the wise men in Babylon, but Daniel and his two Hebrew friends were exempted by divine mercy. If you enter into a covenant with God like the children of Israel did, you will obtain mercy. If you repent of your sins and forsake them, the blessings of redemption will be your portion as you pray for divine mercy. Then, the judgment that occurs to others around you will avoid you if you invoke God’s mercy.

Blessings of Divine Mercy

Those who obtain God’s mercy are entitled to all manner of blessings. They shall be more fruitful than their colleagues in everything they do. When they invest money in business, farm their land, study to pass exams, or put in effort in any other vocation to succeed, they shall do better than their equals. Their corn, wine, oil, flock, sheep, and everything they do will be more blessed than others. If any sickness, disease, or infirmity that kills people comes to them, God will not allow them to suffer or die like others.

I will be his father, and he shall be my son: and I will not take my mercy away from him, as I took it from him that was before thee“. 1 Chronicles 17:13

But my mercy shall not depart away from him, as I took it from Saul, whom I put away before thee“. 2 Samuel 7:15

The Ultimate Purpose of Divine Mercy

Others around you may be experiencing downtime, but you will live in abundance and prosperity. The little efforts you put in will be blessed abundantly more than the multitude of the people around you. You will face more significant challenges, overcome them, and live comfortably as if you never had any problem, but just a little challenge will mess up people who lack divine mercy around you.

But thou, O Lord, art a God full of compassion, and gracious, longsuffering, and plenteous in mercy and truth. O turn unto me, and have mercy upon me; give thy strength unto thy servant, and save the son of thine handmaid. Shew me a token for good; that they which hate me may see it, and be ashamed: because thou, Lord, hast holpen me, and comforted me“. Psalms 86:15-17

God is full of compassion, He is gracious with plenteous mercy and can do anything to promote those who have pleaded for mercy in His sight.

When God has compassion on you, He will go to any length to place you higher and better above your equals. In times of battle and during death and destruction, no harm will befall you because of divine mercy. If by any means something terrible happens to you, you will be delivered miraculously. When Moses found mercy through the decision and prayers of his parents in Egypt, his life was spared. He was distinguished above his equals, trained, set apart, and called by God.

When Hannah prayed in agony for a unique child, the yoke of barrenness was broken in her life, and she received a godly child.

Now there was a certain man of Ramathaimzophim, of mount Ephraim, and his name was Elkanah, the son of Jeroham, the son of Elihu, the son of Tohu, the son of Zuph, an Ephrathite: And he had two wives; the name of the one was Hannah, and the name of the other Peninnah: and Peninnah had children, but Hannah had no children. And this man went up out of his city yearly to worship and to sacrifice unto the Lord of hosts in Shiloh. And the two sons of Eli, Hophni and Phinehas, the priests of the Lord, were there. And when the time was that Elkanah offered, he gave to Peninnah his wife, and to all her sons and her daughters, portions: But unto Hannah he gave a worthy portion; for he loved Hannah: but the Lord had shut up her womb. And her adversary also provoked her sore, for to make her fret, because the Lord had shut up her womb. And as he did so year by year, when she went up to the house of the Lord, so she provoked her; therefore, she wept, and did not eat. Then said Elkanah her husband to her, Hannah, why weepest thou? and why eatest thou not? and why is thy heart grieved? am not I better to thee than ten sons?1 Samuel 1:1-8

Among all the prophets called by God, Elijah obtained mercy to perform miracles more than the rest of the prophets. By divine mercy upon his life, he passed a decree that threatened King Ahab and Jezebel. He later challenged and defeated all the prophets of Baal and commanded rain to fall during the dry season.

By the mercy of God, Daniel was found worthy and preferred above others.

It pleased Darius to set over the kingdom an hundred and twenty princes, which should be over the whole kingdom; And over these three presidents; of whom Daniel was first: that the princes might give accounts unto them, and the king should have no damage. Then this Daniel was preferred above the presidents and princes, because an excellent spirit was in him; and the king thought to set him over the whole realm“. Daniel 6:1-3

He was distinguished, separated, and endowed with uncommon wisdom, knowledge, and understanding to rule and reign throughout his lifetime. The Lions that killed others avoided him and stayed far away because they perceived him as a carrier of divine mercy. If you carry divine mercy, common problems that waste others will avoid you. You will be treated specially because you are unfamiliar, and whoever challenges you will not go free. You may face challenges or threats, but none will overcome you until you finish your assignment.

For David, after he had served his own generation by the will of God, fell on sleep, and was laid unto his fathers, and saw corruption” Acts 13:36

Goliaths and trained champions of war who had never lost any battle will bow before you on the battlefield of your life. Candidates of divine mercy are destined to achieve greatness, but ignorant ones will fail even when they are not destined to fail.

Before you can fulfill your destiny and serve your generation according to the will of God, you must remain pure and prayerful by divine mercy.
