Christian teaching emphasizes the power given to Christians by Christ. In Matthew 28:18-20, Jesus commissions His followers by proclaiming, “All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me.” Go then, and make disciples of all countries…” This divine power is not reserved for a chosen few, but is available to all believers who embrace Christ as their Savior, reflecting the impact of faith.
The Scope of Our Authority
