Christ’s voice brought divine mercy.
In the days of Christ’s acts of MERCY, He says, ‘Go thy way…’ or ‘as thou hast believed, so be it done unto thee’ (Matthew 8:13). Then Mercy launches us and sets us on the path of deliverance, total deliverance. Anyone who desires Mercy in any any area of their lives especially in the area of deliverance must seek Christ and His saving power first. It is in this keen desire to find Christ in the place of prayers that He extends help to you hence saving you from the web of fake ministers out there.
The errors and evil done by some Deliverance Ministers
Today, deliverance ministers do all kinds of things like making people drink water and oil, bath with their soap, and some even go to the extent of stripping people naked and touching every part of their bodies, all in the name of deliverance and casting out demons. Some deliverance ministers have sex with serpents, sleep in the grave yards, and do all manner of things to get demons to possess them. Others pay people to fake miracles to deceive the minds of the simple.
Some enter into covenant with evil spirits and come out filled with the demons of sexual perversion, rape, defilements, confusion, bewitchments, and all manner of uncleanness to defile members in the name of deliverance. These so-called ministers have deceived many because they refuse to sit down to study their Bibles for themselves. Even some who study the scriptures still do not believe in deliverance because they have been bewitched because of how backslidden ministers have abused the deliverance ministry.
This know also, that in the last days perilous times shall come. Having a form of godliness, but denying the power thereof: from such turn away. For of this sort are they which creep into houses, and lead captive silly women laden with sins, led away with divers lusts, ever learning, and never able to come to the knowledge of the truth. But evil men and seducers shall wax worse and worse, deceiving, and being deceived. 2 Timothy 3:1, 5-7, 13
How Christ conducted deliverance.
Let us look at how Christ conducted deliverance in his time to deliver MERCY to his generation. Matthew 8:16 started with ‘When even was come … This signified that the people had probably been with Jesus all through the day listening to His teachings till that evening. The possessed people brought to Christ must have heard the correct teachings of the gospel of the kingdom before Christ cast out the evil spirits in them through His word and healed them all. He cast out the evil spirits and healed them not by touching any sensitive part of their bodies or robbing anything on them.
How should one conduct deliverance?
Deliverance must be done decently. The Holy Spirit may lead deliverance ministers differently but must be in a respectable manner. Is there anything wrong with using oil, water, and other substances for deliverance? There’s nothing wrong in using anything like oil, water, or any other substance but it must be applied decently. Must one know God’s word before deliverance? There’s nothing wrong if you are healed without first having knowledge of God’s word but it is expedient you are fed with the Word of God, you must have a clear understanding of the Gospel that your deliverance will be perfect.
