I’ve discovered that more individuals fail to demonstrate faith in securing financial blessings than anything else.
That’s because they’re attempting to practice faith but haven’t planted any seeds! They expect God to reward their money despite not having planted anything. Nonetheless, it’s remarkable how He can have pity on them and assist them.
The Bible says, “Give, and it will be given to you; good measure, pressed down, shaken together, and running over, shall men give into your bosom.” For the same measure that you mete withal, it will be measured to you back” (Luke 6:38).
The Bible also states that “He who sows sparingly shall reap sparingly, and he who sows bountifully shall reap bountifully” (2 Cor. 9:6). If you want an abundant yield, seed generously.
We cannot gather a produce without first planting seed. We can’t say, “I’m going to the backyard to pick tomatoes” until the ground has been prepared and the seed placed.
We may accept funds via two main methods:
Believing and obeying the Bible.
God spoke to Israel:
Malachi 3:10. Bring all the tithes into the storehouse, that there may be meat in my house, and test me now herewith, says the Lord of hosts, if I will not open the windows of heaven and pour you out a blessing so great that there will be no space to receive it.
God stated we should bring our tithes to the storehouses, and He would unlock the windows of heaven. “Prove me now herewith,” He said.
Obedience is essential to receive from God. If we learn to hear God’s voice and follow Him in our own finances, we will be able to receive more benefits in our own life and allow Him to utilize us in larger ways to help humanity.
A Supernatural Manifestation of the HOLY SPIRIT.
The widow from the Old Testament account in First Kings chapter 17 is an example of the second way. Her oil cruse continued to flow oil, and her meal barrel continued to provide food—which was equivalent to money at the time. It was a supernatural apparition. Because we have followed God and sowed seed, we often see supernatural manifestations in the financial realm.
Prayers for Securing Financial Blessings
- My loving God, I pray to You that my family and I will no longer be concerned about earthly issues such as money or food. I understand that all wonderful things originate from You. Lord, you know I need a financial miracle to continue ahead and devote myself to others. Please reward me with Your goodness and charity. Amen.
- Thank You, Lord, for watching out for me and my family. It’s been difficult these last several weeks, but I know You’re sending us all Your love. I understand that your benefits take time. God, please bring me a financial miracle; I am afraid I will be unable to manage these difficulties on my own. Please grant me the wisdom to devote myself to my family and people around me. Amen.
- Dear Almighty Lord, My present financial position has left me feeling powerless and disturbed. Calm me down with your great power and free me from my concerns. Dear God, please hear my request, reply with a miracle, and bless me abundantly. Amen.
- Heavenly Father, I understand that I should not be concerned about what I shall eat, drink, or wear, therefore I bring my requests to You with appreciation. Father, I surrender my money to You and ask for a financial miracle—an increase in wealth and a reduction in losses. I want to get rid of the worry and despair that a lack of money has given me. Amen.
- Dear God. I’ve been tormented with stress for the last several days due to my financial position. I need Your blessing and strength to keep going, and I hope You would help me let go of the worry that these worldly difficulties have caused me. Help me make the correct choices and decrease this source of stress in Jesus’ name, Amen.
