Breaking Free And Conquering the Power of Evil Counsel for True Deliverance

What to do against evil counsel

Your counsel may breed gossip, hatred, fighting, and murder. It may bring corruption, intimidation, and denial of rights for some people. The consequences of such evil counsels can scatter your church.

In matters like this, what that church needs is not fighting their enemies through deliverance prayers, but to overcome evil counsel in the place of prayer. You need the spirit of humility to be able to say sorry where the need arises. You need to forgive your offender in advance even before he sees reasons to ask for your forgiveness. Without overcoming evil counsel, your deliverance and that of your congregation may never be in view.

‘And David’s anger was greatly kindled against the man; and he said to Nathan, As the Lord liveth, the man that hath done this thing shall surely die: And he shall restore the lamb fourfold, because he did this thing, and because he had no pity. And Nathan said to David, Thou art the man. Thus, saith the Lord God of Israel, I anointed thee king over Israel, and I delivered thee out of the hand of Saul. And David said unto Nathan, I have sinned against the Lord. And Nathan said unto David, The Lord also hath put away thy sin; thou shalt not die.‘ 2 Samuel 12:5-7, 13

Why you need to repent from evil counsels

If you are a leader in any political group, big organization, or church and your counsel has made others kill one another, you are a victim of the sin of evil counsel. Most of the problems we are having today in the lives of our children, family, marriage, and business may be a result of evil counsel. The ill-health you may be battling with today may be the result of your involvement in evil counsel in the past. If you don’t repent and begin to deal with the spirit of evil counsel, you will die in your pains without remedy. You may be praying for death because of your suffering, thinking that once you die, all will be over. Death is not the solution but the beginning of your suffering. You need to overcome here before you can be an overcomer after death. Don’t harden your heart against God’s word. The only solution to true deliverance is to be an overcomer here on earth before death.

If you have a plague, disease, or any manner of problem, leave the tormenting demons alone for a while and face the cause. Repent from your evil works, and evil counsel, abandon idolatry, break away from your evil cults, forsake the devil first and your deliverance will come. Usually, there are things you must overcome before you can be delivered.

Identifying and Addressing the Root of Your Problems

‘As the bird by wandering, as the swallow by flying, so the curse causeless shall not come‘. Proverbs 26:2

‘And the rest of the men which were not killed by these plagues yet repented not of the works of their hands, that they should not worship devils, and idols of gold, and silver, and brass, and stone, and of wood: which neither can see, nor hear, nor walk: Neither repented they of their murders, nor of their sorceries, nor of their fornication, nor of their thefts’. Revelation 9:20-21

Every problem in human life has an invitation card from some powers. Face those powers, overcome them and your freedom will come. You cannot serve two masters at the same time. The demon of evil counsel is greater and more powerful than the problem they brought into your life. Overcome the source and the effect will fade away. Ignore your pains and sufferings, face the root cause first and your deliverance will not be delayed.

Focusing on the Source Rather Than the Effect

‘Or else how can one enter into a strong man’s house, and spoil his goods, except he first bind the strong man? and then he will spoil his house‘. Matthew 12:29

Hereafter I will not talk much with you: for the prince of this world cometh, and hath nothing in me‘. John 14:30

The problem with most deliverance ministers and candidates is that they talk more about the effect than the cause.
