The Foundation of True Ministry
If you want to know the truth, fake ministers, you must be born again and bear the fruits of the Spirit. Any demonstration of power, show of anointing and prosperity without the grace to live holy is fake. If you have power without purity, discernment, faith, healing anointing and prophetic voice without discipline, holiness and control over your tongue, you are far from God. Many ministers have great gifts and talents that men revere, yet those ministers are under the condemnation of God.
When Christ sent the letter to Philadelphia, He introduced Himself as He that is holy, true with final say. The best thing that will happen to anyone on earth is to identify with Christ. If you do that now, today, He will empower you with the Spirit of holiness, truth and give you access to other things. You cannot ignore Christ, leave Him behind, ignore His righteousness and truth, pursue power, come back, and say you are serving Him.
You may be in a hurry to open ministry, seek and get power by all means but you cannot force Christ to approve your ministry. There are ministers who only know parts of the scriptures that favor their part of ministry and ignore others. Others know the scripture very well but they are faulty in explaining them. Others, because of their intellectual attainment, the conscious of their social class in the society, their wealth often restrain them from knowing the truth. The truth is that no man’s wealth, education or position in life is complete if he does not know the scriptures.
Those who fight God’s word, misuse God’s word, misinterpret God’s word, and do evil at the peril of their own soul. In all service, you render to God, preaching and teaching of God’s word, the practical aspect, obeying His words is the climax. If you want anything good that will last to eternity and give you everlasting joy, peace and happiness, Christ is the key. His message to the church in Philadelphia is, I am the truth, the way to true power and authority over demons.
Deception and the Power of Truth
His holiness makes you holy, keeps you holy, and leads you to the truth and gives you key into every good thing. If you ignore His words, righteous living and pursue power, deliverance or any other thing, you cannot come back to get His holiness or work in truth unless you abandon the latter. He is a jealous God and cannot accept second-class position. What Christ is demanding from many deceived ministers, believers is to drop whatever they got wrongly.
Drop your position, your power, remove every evil relationship, break evil covenant and seek for real power. He has the key to every good thing but you have to drop everything you got in wrong ways and enter into his way, truth and life. Some ministers need to close up their ministry, become an ordinary member somewhere else before their deliverance will start. Others need to allow the devil to take away their wealth, position for their deliverance to come.
The truth is that many born again are not born again, many salvations are not sanctified, and their Holy Ghost baptisms are not baptized. Jesus wrote to Philadelphia church and told them not to mind or jealous what they see and hear in other churches. He wrote to them and declares Himself as the source of holiness, the true truth that is with the real key of greatness.
The real key to true power, prosperity and access to every need of man in earth and in heaven is with Him. He told them that He has the sovereignty and ultimate power to all powers and authority. He told them, I am the source of strength, holiness and faithfulness. He is the door and by Him, you can enter into salvation, true salvation, and everlasting salvation and can find anything you need in Him.
He told them to remain in faith, to depend on the vine, abide in Him, so that they can bear fruit that will last. He told them not to worry, border, envy or go after ministers who are on the other side. The branch of Christ, His followers cannot make it without remaining in Him. He told them to fight on, keep living right, and wait until they are empowered by Him, before they start. He encouraged them not to go, run or out run Him.
He told them in the letter that He is the access door to greatness for those who will remain faithful to the end. At that time of the letter, many on Philadelphia were righteous but He told them to keep it up. Hold fast what they have, depend on His grace, stand and rejoice in the hope of the coming of the glory of God. While others are rejoicing in their ill-gotten wealth, ministry, fake power, abundance in everything, Christ told the contending believers, that theirs are on the way.
They should not get weak in faith but that they should take their stand to the end. Some of them were in need, but they must not allow those needs to take them away from the grace. They must keep standing, praying, believing God for their deliverance. They must rejoice in hope of their coming testimony, provision, healing, empowerment and the glory of God in their lives. They must never think of going back or looking back.
‘By whom also we have access by faith into this grace wherein we stand, and rejoice in hope of the glory of God’ (Romans 5:2).
‘For through him we both have access by one Spirit unto the Father’ (Ephesians 2:18).
‘In whom we have boldness and access with confidence by the faith of him’ (Ephesians 3:12).
The Power of Endurance and Faithfulness
They must wait because very soon their case file with God the father will soon receive approval and release to every of their request for deliverance, anointing and prosperity is about to come from God the father. If you ever get anointing, empowerment, healing and deliverance from God, you will never be intimidated again. You will be bold because your access to re-empowerment and increase will be everlasting. Your boldness and confidence in God will never again be questioned or disengaged. You will be permanently with God’s power and anointing for victory in every contest as long as you abide in Christ.
Your power, boldness before the devil and every problem will be permanently permanent. The knowledge that God is with you gives boldness and keeps you fearless before any problem. To be informed that the one that is holy without any defilement is your God is enough to keep you in boldness before any Goliath. To know and be assured by Christ’s letter that the one that will lead to the truth, the source of every truth without lies is your Savior is enough to keep you bold before any present problem. To read this letter from Christ assuring you that He who has the key of David, He that opens and no man shuts, and shuts and no man opens is the one standing by you with a letter is enough to give you hope. You will not die in this your problem if you are with such a person, Christ.
Someone who will not hide the truth, which will set you free, should be trusted. Someone who will tell you the truth that no doctor is aware of should be trusted. The one with the truth that will cause your pains to stop, end your hardship and deliver you from destruction should be believed in. Christ has the power, every authority to promote you, bless you and empower you for service. The brethren in Philadelphia were determined to wait for Him, pray until their deliverance comes from Him. They were deadly committed to live holy, remain loyal and faithful to the end. What is your decision for Christ?
