The Nature and Delight of Prayer
Decree is a strong and unshakeable utterance, or exercise of power through word and command, which is more of certainty. A decree can also be an order that has force equal to a law. It can be defined also as a religious ordinance, enacted by a council or a particular head.
Decree is force that ordains a will, like a judicial decision of a Roman emperor. When we talk of decree, we mean to give or issue a command, or to enjoin, as if by decree or to determine to order a judicial punishment. It is like pronouncing a law to be enacted by the legislature.
In every democratic government, the executive, legislative and judiciary share power and run the government. However, in God’s kingdom and government, it is not so.
Intercession and Warfare Prayer
God the Father, Son and Holy Ghost are one God, and God operates with absolute power. His government is theocratic. He has all powers at His disposal, to do or undo anything He likes. He has absolute power to kill and give life. His Words are final and His rule reaches the heavens and earth. His decree is powerful and can change any situation, no matter who is involved.
God’s absolutism can be seen throughout the ages, even to the end of this age. My God is not obligated by any government and cannot report to any authority. Instead, all governments on earth, powers and dominions are bound to report or bow down to Him.
God can take the form of executive, legislature or the judiciary, but He will not take the form of a servant. No human can question God. However, God’s character is abounding. He is a faithful God, great in mercies, and all-powerful. Nevertheless, He is also a consuming fire. He does not use ‘apology’ in His actions. Right from the beginning of time, He took decisions and the heavens and earth came into being.
God is not obligated to consult anyone or seek approval before taking any action. His Words are decree for He is omnipotent.
“Thou shalt bring them in, and plant them in the mountain of thine inheritance, in the place, O LORD, which thou hast made for thee to dwell in, in the Sanctuary, O Lord, which thy hands have established”
(Exodus 15:17).
“O Lord GOD, thou hast begun to shew thy servant thy greatness, and thy mighty hand: for what God is there in heaven or in earth, that can do according to thy works, and according to thy might?”
(Deuteronomy 3:24).
Among the gods that other powers and authority serve and fear, our God is greater. He is greatly to be feared above other gods. God can do everything, doable and undoable, that is beyond the scope of man and man-made gods that men serve, worship and fear. Even when hope is withdrawn from men, God appears without fear or consultation with any power and brings hope. When the devil and men that serve him conclude that nothing else can be done outside the realm of their power, God intervenes and works wonders.
“I know that thou canst do everything, and that no thought can be withholding from thee”
(Job 42:2).
Without assistance from anywhere, God alone decreed and the heaven and the earth appeared by the great power of God.
“Ah Lord GOD! Behold, thou hast made the heaven and the earth by thy great power and stretched out arm, and there is nothing too hard for thee”
(Jeremiah 32:17).
Expressions and Power of Prayer
God is so powerful that He can just decree anything and it will be exactly as He decreed it. No matter the claims of earthly wise men and numerous scientists through their groundbreaking discoveries, God created and allowed it all. The activities of dark powers, all their works and mysteries amount to nothing before God’s decree. The armies of God in heaven are ready at all times to back up God’s decree no matter who is involved as an opposition.
In His administration of justice, no one, not even the combined forces of all the creation, can stand to oppose God. The armies of heaven are trained and well equipped to deal with any opposing force to God’s decree. There are no rooms for questions as soon as God passes His decree for none can stay His hands or Words of decree.
“And all the inhabitants of the earth are reputed as nothing: and he doeth according to his will in the army of heaven, and among the inhabitants of the earth: and none can stay his hand, or say unto him, What doest thou?”
(Daniel 4:35).
Heavenly angels are ever ready to enforce, with an overwhelming energy, any decree that comes from God. No power can constrain, compel, or bribe the angels of God from carrying out required actions to establish God’s decree. At God’s decree, heavenly enforcers are released in full force and in all aggressiveness, with divine hit men ready to carry out details of God’s Words of decree.
The first decree that God decreed against the language of the world still stands today. All the wise men of the world together with all the universities have not been able to restore one language to mankind.
“And the whole earth was of one language, and of one speech”
(Genesis 11:1).
“And the LORD said, Behold, the people is one, and they have all one language; and this they begin to do: and now nothing will be restrained from them, which they have imagined to do”
(Genesis 11:6).
“Go to, let us go down, and there confound their language, that they may not understand one another’s speech”
(Genesis 11:7).
The terrible and unsolved language barriers all over the world today are as a result of God’s decree against men’s resolve and evil agreement.
Decrees for Freedom & Victory
- Any serpent of darkness in my foundation, come out and die, in the name of Jesus.
- Every evil character that has arrested my destiny, die, in the name of Jesus.
- Blood of Jesus, flow into my foundation and deliver me, in the name of Jesus.
- Angels of the living God, arise and deliver my foundation from devil, in the name of Jesus.
- Any power that has refused to set my foundation free, die, in the name of Jesus.
- Holy Ghost fire, purge my life of evil deposits, in the name of Jesus.
- Let my breakthrough begin to manifest, in the name of Jesus.
- O Lord, visit my foundation and deliver me from destruction, in the name of Jesus.
- Lion of Judah, destroy every fake lion in my foundation, in the name of Jesus.
- Every demonic worm that is in my root, come out and die, in the name of Jesus.
