The meaning of evil debate explained
Evil debate is a debate aimed at turning the truth upside down to have your way. Some believers or leaders know the truth but because it may not suit their evil agenda they will keep debating and arguing until everyone around them gets tired and surrenders.
“Being filled with all unrighteousness, fornication, wickedness, covetousness, maliciousness; full of envy, murder, debate, deceit, malignity; whisperers“. Romans 1:29
Evil debate is an advanced argument in refusal of or rejecting the plain truth of God’s word. Victims of evil debate know the truth but because of what they stand to gain, they turn the truth upside down. Such people can do anything to win any argument; they fight so that they can always emerge the winner.
“But I trust I shall shortly see thee, and we shall speak face to face. Peace be to thee. Our friends salute thee. Greet the friends by name“. 3 John 1:14
Was Paul a victim of evil debate?
Paul encountered Diotrephes in his missionary work who overthrew many people’s faith in the Lord. According to Paul, he did much evil against him, talking against him with malicious words. He fought against anyone who stood in his way. The spirit of evil debate is very destructive because it is more dangerous than witchcraft. It can scatter an entire church and cripple a deliverance ministry.
“To the only wise God our Savior, be glory and majesty, dominion and power, both now and ever. Amen.” Jude 1:25
The dangerous effect of the evil debate
Evil debate is more than gossip, envy, or gang-up. A person with this spirit does not accept the second position. They are very insubordinate, rebellious, and wicked with perfect hatred for correction. They first corrupt themselves before they corrupt others. It is a combination of the spirit of Cain, Balaam and Korah. These people have no fear of God, yet in their evil debate, they call the name of God. They can fight to death even when they know that they are doomed. The scriptures described them as clouds without water, trees whose fruits are withered away and twice confirmed dead, plucked up from the root. They are raging waves of the sea, foaming out their shame, wandering stars without hope. A person with the spirit of evil debate can ignore God’s word, despise divine rebuke, and embark on an evil journey of destruction rather than bow to the truth. People with the spirit of evil debate in the body of Christ are worse than well-known sinners. They are anointed and empowered by the devil to fight God’s kingdom.
“Who changed the truth of God into a lie, and worshipped and served the creature more than the Creator, who is blessed forever. Amen“. Romans 1:25
How the spirit of evil debate challenged Tom Paine
History has it that in 1737, Tom Paine who was an atheist, wrote against God. But at his death bed, he cried, “O Lord, help me! God help me! Jesus Christ, help me! O God! What have I done to suffer so much? As Jesus was about to respond to his cries, the spirit of evil debate repossessed him again and he said, ‘But there is no God!’ And then again, he said, “Yet if there be, what would become of me hereafter? As the elderly woman who was his attendant left the room, Tom Paine said, “Stay with me, for God’s sake! For I cannot bear to be left alone. It is hell to be left alone”. In terror and agony, his very last words recorded as he went to eternity were, “My God, my God, why have thou forsaken me?’
The evidence that some people are not eternal conscious
In the face of death, Cromwell, a well-known evil debater said, “The devil is ready to seduce us and I have been seduced.” Charles IX of France, lamented, “What blood, what murders, what evil counsels have I followed! I am lost! I see it well! He saw his doom but the way out of doom, he could not see. The way many believers and deliverance ministers live their lives in pursuit of the things of this world shows that they do not believe in eternity. They preach deliverance from bondage and evil foundation but they build even worse foundations for their unborn children. Nowadays, atheists are no longer limited to the world alone, but they can also be found in the churches where they specialize in modernizing everything. They believe in God, and preach eternity but they contradict what they preach by the way they live their lives.
“Behold, thou art called a Jew, and restest in the law, and makest thy boast of God, And knowest his will, and approvest the things that are more excellent, being instructed out of the law; And art confident that thou thyself art a guide of the blind, a light of them which are in darkness, An instructor of the foolish, a teacher of babes, which hast the form of knowledge and of the truth in the law. Thou therefore which teachest another, teachest thou not thyself? thou that preachest a man should not steal, dost thou steal? Thou that sayest a man should not commit adultery, dost thou commit adultery? thou that abhorrest idols, dost thou commit sacrilege? Thou that makest thy boast of the law, through breaking the law dishonourest thou God? For the name of God is blasphemed among the Gentiles through you, as it is written“. Romans 2:17-24

The spirit of evil debate must be conquered
Believers, deliverance ministers, and deliverance candidates must first overcome the spirit of evil debate if they want true and lasting deliverance.
Why the truth should not be covered
The atheist, Thomas Hobbes, said in his last hour on earth, “I am taking a fearful leap into the dark.” Deliverance candidates deserve to know the truth. It is wickedness to hide the truth from them because it is the truth that will make them free. Prayers can only work when the truth is known and obeyed. You cannot carry the spirit of evil debate and get true deliverance. You have to be humble enough to submit to the truth of God’s word.
Why the demons of evil debate should be conquered
You have to overcome the source of your problem before you can effectually deal with the problem itself.
“For the time is come that judgment must begin at the house of God: and if it first begin at us, what shall the end be of them that obey not the gospel of God? And if the righteous scarcely be saved, where shall the ungodly and the sinner appear? Wherefore let them that suffer according to the will of God commit the keeping of their souls to him in well doing, as unto a faithful Creator“.1 Peter 4:17-19
“Thine enemies roar in the midst of thy congregations; they set up their ensigns for signs. They have cast fire into thy sanctuary, they have defiled by casting down the dwelling place of thy name to the ground. They said in their hearts, let us destroy them together: they have burned up all the synagogues of God in the land. The demons of evil debate are worse than world Atheists because God hates the enemies in His church more than the worst sinners in the world. If you want to fight God, you should leave the church, if not, your punishment will be more. There are people who specialize in scattering and causing desolations in churches- always quarreling, gossiping, and fighting the leadership. Such people are promoted by the devil to cause problems. They pull down ministers, release evil fire in the church, and enjoy satanic promotions and protection for a while. Yet, when the devil begins to deal with them, they seek deliverance without true repentance and restitutions.
