The Power of Faith and Declaration

Faith’s Declaration and Joseph

Joseph remembered what he believed and said it out even after he was confirmed dead.

“By faith Joseph, when he died, made mention of the departing of the children of Israel; and gave commandment concerning his bones.”

(Hebrew 11:22).

The grave can hold down the dead body but cannot arrest the faith of the dead.

Why don’t you find something you believe in and say it out loud? When you say what you believe, you put God into a responsibility.

The book of Exodus came because Joseph spoke out what he believed. God called Moses into the ministry because Joseph remembered and made mention of the departing of the children of Israel. There are many promises of God for every nation and families of the earth waiting for someone to mention them. When you believe something and mention it, you are putting responsibility on God. Many blessings are lying down waiting for speakers.

Pharaoh with all his soldiers and magicians vowed never to let the children of Israel go. But unfortunately, Joseph had mentioned it out in faith. Even though it took time, the words mentioned by faith by Joseph never gave God rest until he called Moses and commissioned him for action against Pharaoh. Your Pharaoh may mobilize forces against you. God is waiting for you to believe in Him and say out what you believe. Your Pharaoh may have captured your progress, which was what he did to the children of Israel many years ago. He may have influenced you to make many mistakes. But it does not matter once you are ready to repent and forsake your sins. He may have wasted your destiny, put you under a taskmaster, placed a curse upon your marriage, fired many arrows against you, marked you for untimely death, and killed your young ones without a challenge. You may be helpless, tired of life and completely defeated. It also happened to the children of Israel in Egypt, but God remembered the word of faith spoken by Joseph. Your problem may be marriage, that was where Moses was defeated, but he did not give up. So do not give up no matter who is your wife or husband.

Overcoming Obstacles Through Faith

You may be living amid the magicians of Egypt. Moses lived and grew up with them. They may be using enchantments, witchcraft, and divination against you. No problem. Moses saw enough of it more than you, but he never gave up until his serpent swallowed the enemy’s serpents. The enemy multiplied their problems, blocked them with the Red Sea, caused some of them to complain and murmur, but because of the words mentioned by Joseph, God took them out of Egypt.

The long and short of it was that God brought them out of Egypt and took them to the Promised Land.

“And the LORD gave unto Israel all the land which he sware to give unto their fathers; and they possessed it, and dwelt therein. And the LORD gave them rest round about, according to all that he sware unto their fathers: and there stood not a man of all their enemies before them; the LORD delivered all their enemies into their hand. There failed not ought of any good thing which the LORD had spoken unto the house of Israel; all came to pass.”

(Joshua 21:43-45).

From Faith to Victory

If you can only believe and say out what you believe, you will get to your Promised Land. No matter how sinful you are, you can still believe Christ, repent, and forsake your sins. If God can save a professional harlot just because she placed her faith in God, He can save and deliver you. People who are supposed to perish can still be spared if only they can believe. Many lives who were marked for death in the past escaped, simply because of faith. This faith is available for you even now, and it is very simple even to people of other religion. Just believing in Christ settles it. Rehab once believed in other gods, but she abandoned her religion and believed, and God saved her.

“By faith the harlot Rahab perished not with them that believed not, when she had received the spies with peace.”

(Hebrew 11:31).

Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.”

(John 14:6).

Surrender your life to Christ and be saved. He is the only way to life and the God of life.

There was an army captain who was going to war. That day he believed God for a victory. His faith was that that day was going to be the last battle. He believed it and said it out. With that faith and agreement with God, he went into the battlefield believing to win before the day ran out, but nature appeared and decided to suspend the battle to the next day. The day was going against him as the sun was fast disappearing. The moon was also from the other end of the world coming very fast into the earth to bring in the night. Of course, that was normal. But with faith, abnormal things take place.

This army captain was on the battlefield watching this scenario. The sun was moving out fast, and the night was coming in fast at the same time. All of a sudden, the man called the sun to attention and spoke to the moon for a discussion. But you know how stubborn nature is. The only person they obey is God. They refused to discuss with this army captain. Their reason being that from the day they were created, they had never honoured such invitation from man. The sun was in terrible haste to hand over to the moon and report to its Creator, which was his way from creation. The moon was almost coming into her office for the night shift when this army captain spoke out in authority to these two uncompromising elements of nature.
